Although I don't like Korn, I can honestly say that this guy is a great drummer. He is smooth and has a good feel; however, the stuff he does in this video isn't as great as most people think it is. Those kinds of fills have the ability to sound more complicated than they are, much like fast sweep picking on a guitar sounds insane to someone who doesn't know what it is.

Certain styles of metal also come with a type of appearance. Like many black metal bands where goth makeup when performing on stage. Punk rockers of the 70's and 80's sported mohawks, and so on.
