My galvanised iron roof has a bit of surface rust. The paint is peeling where this occurs. What is the easiest way to get rid of this as I've tried the wire brush method but its hard to get rid of the peeling paint and in some cases its cant. I also tried using a metal scrapper but that seemed to dig into the roof and chip off more than the coat of paint to expose a flaky black substance.
