I saw one of these the other day. I like how you can stand up in the tall version, but like everything else Nissan makes, this thing is just flat-out goofy-looking.
It's also smaller than Sprinter. It's like saying a Transit Connect gets better mileage and has lower maintenance than Sprinter. They are aimed at different markets so the comparison doesn't really apply. The NV is aimed at vehicles like the E-150, Chevrolet Express and GMC Savannah. The Sprinter is being marketed as an alternative to a step van or box truck.
@xxxfestivaxxx but still, based off Dodge Ram. There is a thing called a Dodge Ram Van, but it's based off the Caravan. Dodge doesn't produce a large van (they used to have Sprinter but now discontinued)
@jason123456789210 Nissan was going to base the 2011 Titan off the Dodge Ram but the deal fell through. In an article posted by Autoblog on January 13, 2010, Larry Dominique said that Nissan is now focusing on creating the next Titan internally. Nissan and Ford is more likely. The first two generations of the Quest were a joint venture with Ford, which marketed a rebadged variant as the Mercury Villager. As far as Cummings, they make engines for many things not just Dodge.
You are very much mistaken. The Titan has nothing to do with the Dodge Ram. It was developed exclusively by Nissan as part of the F-Alpha platform. The Frontier, Titan, Xterra, Armada, and Inifiniti QX56 are all built off the same platform and a modified variant was sold to Suzuki and used as the basis for the Equator.
@gamewizard orignly the 2013 titan was based on the ram but nisan (i think) seprated from fiat/chrysler. there's still a dodg ram van, but it's a minivan.
@Edgartheguitarplayer Sprinters are expensive. Servicing Sprinters is expensive. Diesel is expensive.
Here's a conventional gas-fueled, V8-powered van with a lower purchase price and lower maintenance upkeep. It will sell well, and in greater numbers than the Sprinter can manage in the U.S.
they need to make dis jon in 4 ba 4...

I like the high roof van with windows. It'd make an awesome school bus or a taxi. Now, how about a diesel engine under the hood?

Price tag about $10,000 less than sprinter...

Fuel Costs are less than sprinter...

@MREURONCAP
All vans are ugly. You don't buy a van for looks... You buy it to work so you can afford to buy a pretty car.
At least this one has some functional thought involved. I work out of Chevy vans all day, and this blows them away.
If only I had the 28k to drop on one of these.... I'd get rid of my old G-van and pass on the company Express in a heartbeat!

for some reason this looks like a clash between a chevy van a ford f 250 , and a nissan cube...and i see some dodge in there as well ...
