Very nice performance. I like your touch. Many people play accordion but it's hard to find a musician who also senses the keys. It's different from piano, keyboard and other instruments.

hi, I know a little about Ernie Felice.... great player!!! I think he recorded with Benny Goodman. There's a video here on utube called 'June Christy 1950' which has Felice and his quartet playing

My dad is Ernie. My sister, my brother and I are just now delving into the boxes of old records my dad has (who is still alive), and we plan on getting most of them professionally transferred. The new Grammy Museum here in Los Angeles is considering displaying his original Sonola accordion. We are in the very early stages of planning.

Being the worst accordionist in this world, I've decided to take up the flute, for whatever its worth!..and of all the instruments, I've always felt the flute was the one that I"d do best at. So...I do seem to be doing rather well at it, and my ultimate goal is to play along with your youtube songs "ad libbing", but only in the "backround" of course. This song of yours does seem to have a "flute" "come hither" feeling to it. In a few more YEARS, I'll let you know how it worked out!..

hey Sal, this reminds me - when I was a kid I studied cello and violin. Quite an ok cellist, but less than mediocre violinist...my cocker spaniel would sit outside my window howling and 'baying at the moon' whenever I practised :D

THanks accdron...it's a big fav of mine too. Although I must say - I have SO many Marocco favourites...he's such an exquisite musician and accordionist. Have you heard his bebop duo cd with Simone Zanchini? ...fAntastic version of The Flinstones theme tune...totally and utterly effervescent :-)) makes me wanna dance
