@tag1989 The first argentine goal, was handled by the goal keeper right above the line. And although the ball actually entered the goal, the referee did not book it as a goal. That's why everyone raised their hands, because the referee did not blow the whistle to indicate the score. ;-)

This game should have been a draw as the first Argie goal did not cross the line. At least not all of it. African senior teams need to do what the youth have and are doing and that's knock their opponents out cold. Idi Amin once said as Ugandan boxers were claiming they were being unfairly judged.

I think this was the best match. very open and good skills. i remember watching it in a pub in london. when the screen went dead for five minutes, the whole crowd got angry and started swearing. most exciting match in my opinion.

Actually newyorkhooligan, it should have been 3-1 for Argentina, they DID SCORE A GOAL in the 14th minute of the match as can be clearly seen in the video. Unfortunately, the referees did not see it, and as long as FIFA remains stubbornly opposed to any kind of technological assistance to its referees, injustices like this will keep happening. It is such a shame that an otherwise beautifull game can stubbornly insist on remaining so unjust.
