Ancient builders often aligned pyramids, temples and castles with the stars. However, within a "generation" (72 years) it was observed that the 12 constellations of the Zodiac (or equivalent) "fall back" one degree in 72 years. 360 generations of the Great year cycle add up to 25,920 years - divided into the 12 Ages (2,160 years or 30 generations). December 21, 2012 (winter solstice) is the first day of the Age of Aquarius. It's not an event that will repeat itself twice in your lifetime!

It is the Ecliptic plane in which the Earth makes its
