I practice brazilian jiu jitsu and found myself to be really stiff and not very flexible and in jiu jitsu you need to be loose and flexible and when I found rodney yee and began his power yoga...WOW!! my body transformed into a jiu jitsu power house!! even my instructor can tell the difference!
In my experience the best results in yoga happened when you keep the poses longer than what these yoga videos show, giving your body the opportunity to relax into the pose thus opening further. Check Richard Freeman videos, to me those are the best I have seen for serious yoga students.
POwer Yoga for Beginners has converted me to Yoga forever. I've got a wayyy better body now, and my lower back pain is totally gone. I'm so much stronger too. (I actually have a nice body now) And all I used was my own body. I just wish Gaiam still sold "Power Yoga Stamina."
try the movements! If you're not completely flexible enough to do it at first, come as close as you can without hurting yourself! I feel so much better phsically! Yoga is awesome!

Its great for stress relief and healing pain, although Im just getting into intermediate yoga, I still cant do the inverted poses...

i don't do yoga, but i really enjoy watching this guy's videos :D calms me down and helps me relax, even without doing the movements.
