  • Do you accept donations of pens?

  • Do you have lots of pens?? I just need every pen there is!

    - roc

  • wow now that's a collection!

  • So, Zittezen, welcome to my OCD world! You should show your collections!

Thanks for your great comment! -roc

  • greaaat collection

  • I am glad you enjoyed them , Cullen! -roc

  • That's one heck of a pen collection Roc. Now we know where all the missing pens are! LOL Sorry I'm late getting here. -Jim

  • Yup, I have the pens, Jim. Never leave one lying around when I am near. I just have to pick it up, try it, see if I want it, and then put on the "weepy" face to convince you I need it. - roc

  • roc, Very cool looking pens! I'm impressed that they are in one place! One can never find one in this house. :p

    Beck

  • The pens "live" in a plastic tool box. Where they are safe and I have the option of adding a lock. (I haven't done that yet... I am not that far gone... )

    roc

  • I've heard of "writers block" but not "writers paradise"! In my house, we have a place called "pen heaven" where every single pen goes to only hours after buying them. They disappear ONLY when i need to write something urgently and never return!

  • Oh, mastud, you need to treasure your writing instruments.

    - roc

  • nice pens! and more than iv ever seen in my whole life lol! why so many? :-)

  • Just because.

    ITISASICKNESS!

Stasi, I have six unopened boxes (12 to a box) of flair fine point markers. They will go dry before I use them, but they ARE MINE, I TELL YOU. - roc

PS okay, I am calmer now.

  • haha u have issues! just wait a few more years and then we can start some counselling sessions lol :-)

  • Okay. Do you collect anything compulsive like this?

  • i used to tear out the comic page of the newspaper everytime i got it... iv got about 5 years worth folded and stashed away in a cupboard (garfield, calvin and hobbes, zits, and hagar among others)... but i stopped that. it was kinda pointless and a waste of space. it wasn't really compulsive tho. i can't think of any compulsive collections...

  • WOW i have never seen so many pens in one place before, love and respect scotty and libby:0)

  • I have another hidden shoe box full, Scotty and Libby - they are the cheap "give-aways". I can't resist a writing instrument. -roc

  • I have a tons of pens too... some I keep hidden in the drawer so that "only I can use" cause they are so special. LOL

I think my friend you have me beat when it comes to pens. lol

  • Real pens are beautiful. Most of what I showed are not very expensive - - but, oh Martha, the beauties .... those stunning writing instruments that are more than $500.00 - OOOOH, I covet. I know it is wrong, but, Martha, I covet....

    - roc

  • LOL -- interesting video ;o) when I 1st saw the title I thought it said something else... I got my new eye glasses today and I am learning to see and read with them... anyways

  • hehe i misread the title at first as well lol

  • heh heh heh to you too, Stasi. - roc

  • Heh heh heh.

Did your eyebrows raise?? - roc

  • hehe ;o) just say that I had to get my mind out of the gutter ... and realize that new eye glasses aren't what they are cracked up to be... or at least I am blaming my poor reading skills on them... but Roc it was way bad... I thought I read about you having extra body parts... hehe ;o) Your videos always make me smile ... that's it that's all.

  • lol well I'm glad I'm not alone in my pen appreciation but your collection puts me to shame. :)

  • One pen is never enough. For that matter, 100 pens are not enough. - roc

  • Roc you are still my hero but I now see that you have flaws just like the rest of us. My weakness is dishes but I have sold or broken most of my addiction.. er I mean collection.

You really do have a problem here..

  • lol!

  • I didn't show the really cheap pens. I have a shoe box full of the "give-away" pens - you know, hotel, convention, company...

    Save me. - roc

  • May I please borrow a pen? /runs and hides before you can hit me now that you're all strong and fit.

  • NO. You can't hide from me. - roc

  • There ya' go. When I was in school, the boys would "fling" the ink from their fountain pens at the girls...a sign of affection, no doubt. However, it ruined more than one outfit. Boys! :)

  • I hated being flung at! (heh heh heh) - roc

  • Do you do calligraphy? I want those pens! Quite a collection! And thanks for the bit of yodeling! YEE HAW!

  • I used to study calligraphy, but have set it aside for the moment. On occasion, I still practice. Glad you enjoyed Eddy Arnold!! - roc

  • So...now you're breaking out the skeletons in your closet?? We have a bit of a pen issue, do we not??? -sue

  • Sue, I can't pass a pen without picking it up and checking it out. I like them all - with the exception of the really cheap pens you get at hotels and conventions.... but, even so, I have a box full of them.

    - roc

  • I own one fountain pen. It is a wonderful feeling to write with it.

Do you remember the old cartridge pens? We used to use those at school for handwriting practice.

  • Ronda, I remember ink wells and dip pens. Grade 2. A long time ago! - roc

  • Wow! That's quite a collection you have going there. You could be related to my father. When he died, he probably had 300 pens and mechanical pencils...and 40 winter coats (we live in South Carolina where you rarely need a single winter coat, let alone 40). ;) -Doug

  • Huh. Um, what did you do with all those pens, Doug? I wonder why your dad wanted all those coats. He must have thought he looked dashing in a coat. - roc

  • Oh my Lord!!

Hey, no I don't want to stop watching!

  • Ahhhh. I cut you off! - roc

  • so where is the obsessive/compulsive behaviour? i'd love to have a fountain pen in my hand again.

  • At least some people understand! A good fountain pen is a thing of beauty and joy. - roc

  • Oh I love Pilots. I am picky about my pens. Well, and in my profession, we guard them like hawks. I am right there with ya!

  • A Pilot is a good pen. I like it very much, but they are hard to find now. Yes, I guard my pens carefully. And I don't like sharing! -roc

  • LOL! They will dry up before you use them all.

  • Yes, that is a problem, MaryKay. The ones on the table are mostly fountain pens, so they are okay!

    - roc

  • Oh, please forgive me roc.... but I didn't have my reading glasses on and I almost passed out thinking your vid was entitled..."I show my penis". My bad.

    hugs, Chris

  • hahahahahaha....

  • hahahahahahaha!

  • HA HA HA hahahahaha!! Oh, Chris, I don't have one of those things!!

    You're funny. - roc

  • Chris that is only funny because you said it. I can picture it now. I am laughing so hard I may wake allen.

  • Made me laugh too, Dolores!

  • Okay, now THAT is a pen fixation. I thought *I* was bad!!

  • What did I tell you?? - roc

  • You did say you had it bad. I didn't realize *how* bad.

  • they have medication you can take for that! LOL.

my mom used to play that song at the end when i was a kid ;)

  • Gail, it is Cattle Call by Eddy Arnold. I never put credits up anymore incase YT goes nuts closing accounts! - roc

  • WOW that is a lot of pens. You know my friend has 2700 fridge magnets... I never did collect anything myself - Oh well I am boring I guess.

  • You are not boring. You just don't collect. Maybe I should show my stick pen nibs. And inks. And papers....

    Stop me now! - roc

  • Cool, I collected pens for a long time and then one day I stopped. My pens were mostly novelty pens. I had pens from places I had visited and I had pens in the shape of different objects (a bowling pin) and all sorts of shapes. Some of them were games. I actually was given one of my great grandfathers pens. Ten years ago I had a head injury and after that I lost interest in some of the things I used to do. Gigi

  • There is just something special about a pen, Gigi. I am always picking them up where ever I go to heft it in my hand first and then try it. Some are just crappy things, but I even like them. I can't walk past a pen without wanting to check it out. - roc

  • Wow!! What an amazing assortment of pens and pencils. My great Uncle collected pencils..well, he really collecting just about everything...and had enough pencils to build a cottage!! No kidding!

I love a good fountain pen..

    Great video!!

    Hugs~Nancy

  • Enough pencils to build a cottage?? Wow! I didn't really show all my pencils. Nancy, I have pencil crayons that I had in grade 4. Believe it or not. - roc

  • I hope you never feel like you wont ever have something write with

  • I can always find a pen. One is never very far away! -roc

  • Let's see: Bessie Smith's "Ain't Nobody's Business" and Eddy Arnold's "Cattle Call". Am I right?

Holy crap, that's a lot of pens! My weapon of choice is a Uni-ball Roller 0.5mm Micro with blue ink. Simple and smooth with no frills.

  • I am stunned you knew it was Bessie Smith! I thought "Ain't Nobody's Business" fit my admission to my particular OCD and I am not open to criticism! Cattle Call - well, just because. I just like pens and prefer fountain pens, but they can be messy.

I am very impressed you knew the two songs! -roc

  • no wonder i can never find a pen, you have them all!!!!

  • They are mine, not yours. - roc

  • I love your pens! ;) I love fountain pens the best though specially to draw with...

  • A fountain pen is just the best, Dalton. -roc

  • I've waited ages to see all your pens

    How many are there altogether?

    x hugs x

  • I really don't know how many, Twish. Of the good ones, maybe 75. The rest are cheapies... - roc

  • LOL! That's definitely a pen for every occasion. And then some...

  • And then some, Moosie. - roc

  • *GASP*....;)

What a lovely collection. Do you use them all? The ocd thingy, I know about! The good news is your pens are organized and neatly displayed. Well done;)

    Marylou ^-^

  • GASP back at you (hahahaha)

I haven't used many for a long time - about half are art or calligraphy pens. I have favourites, though.

    Glad you liked it Marylou.

    - roc

  • I love pens, for daily stuff I use pilot v7, for important stuff I use "cross".

  • omgosh! I also use Cross® pens for "important" things, and my everyday pens are black medium Pilot® EasyTouch™ retractables. I have one fountain pen, but I'm a smudger. :(

Love your pens, Roc! Thanks for sharing your collection. Now I'm off to look out the window and watch the neighbors build their ark. We're going to need it, I'm afraid....

  • Lots of water out there right now, Mike. So many places are flooded. Will it ever stop?

The Pilot is a nice pen. I like all inks, but am partial to black and purple. - roc

  • Did you note my cross pen collection, Ran? I have several, but for the really important stuff, I use the Mont Blanc! My favourite is the Waterman though. - roc

  • That is a LOT of pens!!!!

I can never find a pen. I am assuming that isn't an issue for you. :)

  • Yes, I can always find a pen. Sometimes, not the one I want, though. Maybe I should have showed all my ink too.

    Next time.

    - roc

  • wow

  • I know!! - roc
