*some* of these people might have a better chance to make the audition if they put some work into it. Like several years of paying their dues, sing in some bands, play hotel lounges to indifferent audiences. (It has a way of seasoning you). but most of these "singers" think because their friends cheer for them at karaoke night that they have a good voice. Get some independent feedback and practive.
