I have alway's been of the opinion Pavarotti's voice was very coarse and "gravelly" and do not rate any of the so-called 3 tenor's very highly at all.Of course there are a lot of people out there who are, understandably turned on by modern recording "techniques" and do not listen to the voice.They are of course entitled to their likes and dislikes but just maybe their opinion's are enforced by going to rather very loud and distasteful performances.
