something go rong with my axiom and now i cant play the pads ... and so yo have some quick start about all the programings bottoms ... will be grate ...
Can anybody help me .. I have a M audio 49 2nd gen .. and I can't hear it ?? I conected it to my suround system .. and can you only use it with softwere ???
@mrfayfay7 the keyboard doesn't make any sound, it just sends commands to your computer to use soft synths/vst plugins, so you need to connect it to a computer and connec the computer to your sound system.
Does the size of my controller keyboard effect how much I can play. If I get a 25 key controller keyboard, will this limit how many notes I can play on a program like pro tools for example?
@KingRichardX i THINK if u get ur set up a keyboard channel and a channel ( like FPC on FL) to control ur drum pads and then create a layer selecting the two as children, the two should play simultaneously through the layer channel :P...hope this helps...im a newbie and just getting used to the terminology
@KingRichardX You can set the pads to a different MIDI channel than the keyboard - each pad can even be on different channels. You can also assign the pads to any note or control that you want, either from the Axiom (touch the pad and press a few buttons), or using the Enigma software on your computer (click and fill in text boxes).
I have the 49 keys model. Bought it a while ago - and it had the sticky keys issue, Axiom users know what I'm talking about. Took M-audio like years to acknowledge the problem, so they changed it with a new one, and it has one of the best keyboards I played with :) Lucky I was still within the warranty.
I wish I knew how to use these natural sounds instead of plug ins when in Pro Tools, just to see how it sounds, but not sure how. Please tell me if you can. Thanks
I'm not crazy about the knobs on this unit. You have to keep turning, turning and turning to get them to complete a normal 0-127 filter sweep. It's really annoying.
is this good for extreme begginers? lol. cuz i just got into beat making and im only using fl studio, but i really want to make real beats. what should i do.
@CMLbeats ITS GREAT FOR STARTERS I DONT USE KEYS MY SELF FOR BEATS BUT I WOULD ALSO RECOMEND FOR YOU TO DOWNLOAD NEW SOUNDS FL STUDIO HAS SOME GREAT HIDDEN ONES
Is the keyboard "sticky"? I have read a lot about the Axiom stuff, the 61 in particular having sticky keys. there is even a video on YouTube demonstrating it.
the PC houses your sounds/sample, there are no sounds in a midi controller. It does have a plug for a 12v power cord, but i don't think you get a power cord with it.
There aren't any sounds built into this keyboard. Most keyboard controllers are totally dependent upon your computer and plugins to create the sound. This just controls the sounds.
@TheKidProductions The Driver CD that you should of got is outdated so you can't you use it anyway...but to answer your question yet it is plug-in play.
This is a midi keyboard, which is simply just a controller for your computer to play your virtual synths. so no, you can't plug it into an amp and start jammin ;)
A MIDI controller has no preloaded sounds on it, it is simply to control the sounds you have it connected to (like a hardware synth or your computer). A synthesizer has all the sounds on it.
im thinking of getting one of these midi control keyboards for use with garage band( yes, garageband im broke :L) but is the axiom compatable with garageband because i havent seen any videos on here with the two combined :/
yeah, but i had some problems getting it to install.
don't bother installing the drivers or the keyboard itself, just plug it in, let your computer do its thing, and then once it's finished auto-configuring, open fl studio and go to the options menu, go to midi settings, and then enable the controller.
