I have lost a few good friends to motorcycle accidents so I know that it is a serious sport. If you ever make it south of the border to Tijuana that is a great place to find great deals on leather jackets for a fraction the amount you would pay here, but be careful Mexico being what it is these days.

I'm a biker that doesn't stunt, but i have a great deal of respect for pro stunters. They can do amazing things. The big difference is that most pros do this in parking lots and closed off areas with proper gear. These people with no helmets, gloves, boots and jackets are playing russian roulette. Maybe not with their lives, but certainly with road rash and months of pain.

Wear your gear and do this in the proper place, not somewhere where a car can run you over after a fall.
