I love how the dog waits for the noise from the drawback mechanism every time. It's like it's the signal the dog is waiting for so it knows when to start running.
Try making it silent ( pneumatic system ), then add a rotary system so you can shoot the ball in more directions, limit the range from software ( so you don't shoot the ball through the window for ex.) and then have fun with the software so that the machine tricks the dog to disorient the shoot direction. Then patent & sell a cheap plastic version that everybody would love 2 have at home... You can even get sophysticated with a long-range outdoor model... ha ha ha ha ha
You need to make a production model and sell it. That way I can sit through a TV program without being interrupted and my dog can finally get a playmate to match her stamina.
