  • That cat is so cute :)

  • I do the same thing sometimes.

  • i think its imitating the bird as a hunting technique.....clever cat

  • Wow. Cat's are so amazing. Where can I get one? I want a big one. The orange kind that eat cereal.

  • @HollywoodKendrick Don't you mean lasagne? :P

  • maybe cats try to imitate bird sound in order to catach attention and than get the bird for meal :)

  • BORING

  • @ 0:44 kitty licks his lips. lol Thanks for sharing!

  • I beleve that the cat is trying to immitate something the bird would eat so when the bird comes looking for food that cat can catch it.

  • k, my theory is that cats chat like this so as to process the visual information differently becuse they do hunt by movement, thus the situation is no longer a hunt scenario.

  • Such a cute cat...love the chatting to the birds...why is the cat's collar so big? It must feel awfully uncomfortable.

  • I like how the cat has his or her paw at angle as if to say "oh do go on".

  • Bird : Yo fat ass!

    Cat : JACKPOT!

Bird : wtf? No. I'm calling you a fat lazy shit cat.

Cat : I'm going to eat you when i'll get outside .

Bird : Oh no you ain't!

Cat : Oh yes I am.

    Bird : No you won't.

    Cat`: Yes I will!

  • @lilmissgaga

    LOOOOOOOL

  • i dont really think its copying the bird...to me this looks more like 'chatting' which is what cats do when they are watching an animal they want to eat hehe

  • True. Cats do it to lure their prey.

  • @scarlet6 Yep, that cat has already learned to hunt from its mother.

  • @scarlet6 yea exactly scarlet, the cat was actually imagining eating the bird, and they do this by grinding their teeth together! damn nature you scary!

  • nice

  • Sweet... Thanks

  • cats will bark at birds when they know they can't get to them but they'd like to get to them... LOL . my little female cat will sit up stairs in my bedroom looking at the birds through the glass as they fly up to the suet cages I have hung on the second story balcony

  • So cute and funny! Birdies and kitties, you can't get it much better than that. :)

  • bumbelee!!! i finally found u on youtube!!

    this balcony looks familiar!!

  • my cat bobo does that but he makes clicking noises so the bird gets close

  • I've seen some say here that cats do this when they want to hunt. your cat didn't have that killer look on it's face, more like a curious look. My cat howls with the coyotes lol! I think cats tend to copy what ever animal they are curious about.

  • my cats do that too~!!!

  • Its not copyig the bird. Its just excited, and feeling the natural instinct to hunt. (Though it looks like its glued to its bed xD)

  • cats do that to try and coerce the bird into comig nearer

  • heey!.. are u sure ur cat is "cat"..?? is it bird?

  • they arent talking . . . *sigh* wow, most cats make this sound when they see somthing they want to hunt. im no cat expert or anything, but im supprised no1 so far has known that. lol wow.

  • actually, if they see something they want to hunt, aren't they usually silent, as not to spook the prey?! I'm no cat expert or anything.

  • they gerneraly do that when thay WANT to hunt somthing but they wont/cant

  • that is so cute! and unique!

  • los gatos son hermosos...

  • We have to feed the local pigeons to keep our cat amused! I could spend hors listening to her chirping and clicking! (shes a housecat)

  • aww such a cute kitty

  • what bird is it

  • I think its a mockingbird. ^^
