totally totally agree with albinowingnut. this man holds a note with the ease off greats such as Sammy Davis, Luther Vandross, Michael jackson, it comes with being a genius at the talent your given, man has amazing amazing talent and abilities beyond even some off the great singers off our time. i know for me personally, i admire this mans ability to not only be a superier vocalist but also a great performer and personality. not even a handful about anymore

I am in the music business, and I can tell you as an expert in the field, this man is a vocal wizard. It takes a good singer to impersonate good singers, a great singer to impersonate great singers. Do the math. You armchair judges with no expertise or sense of appreciation of beautiful vocal tone, or any sense at all for that matter;-your opinion is valuable only to yourself. It takes talent to sing beautifully like this.

It takes genius to do what this guy does with that beautiful voice.

Joe has had his own prime time TV specials , TV series , a string of albums , the star at the 1989 Royal Variety Show, has sold out all of his shows for the last 30 years including Royal Albert Hall, Sydney Opera House , London Palladum , had a number 1 selling video and much of this since he was diagnosed with Lymphoma 20 years ago .

Not bad for and quite a achievement for , as you say , a very minor celebrity .

joe as we know has had a really tough time especially with his illness but i cant think of another performer who would still go on stage despite being ill but what concerns me is his management team arent all that good he deserves managers that will work for and with him its clear at the moment they arent doing anything to get him back where he belongs at the top and back on tv

Joe is the only performer I go to see regularly when he is in the North East. He is an incredible talent. The sound at Newcastle City Hall was so good I cold hardly believe it. I am a club singer and know class when I see and hear it. Perhaps TV producers don't anymore!!

I've been brought up on singers like Joe Longthorne and have seen him singing live many times in Blackpool. Nothing better than going to see a show and then having a nice Italian meal in Blackpool - an amazing atmosphere.

I'd much rather see Joe singing than some of the crap on TV at the moment. Definitely one of the best UK singers of all time.
