the game is good... Horrid Voice acting tho', and no Japanese voice track xD

just mute voices and read the subs... you'll enjoy the story more xD

it takes the tedium out of grinding...my only real complaint is how unbalanced it is... the Mobs are easy pickings but the bosses are really hard.. at least they made grinding for the bosses an easy thing

EPIC FAIL. I must addmit I have never seen such as unispired RPG, the worst voice acting + worst graphics. Also no interesting story...it is a bend of all the clichés of rpg`s into one game. I mean seriously people: are wii all so desperate?? You can cleraly notice when you play it the poor compromise developers had with ArcRise. The fact that they had little competition on wii`s rpgs does not mean we should buy the first bad bone they throw to us. I was specting so much more from marvelous

@Darozuma Voice acting is not a legitimate complaint at all as many games don't have any voice acting. Plus it actually is decent once you get about half way through the game. Overworld graphics admittably suck, but in-battle graphics are decent and I honestly don't care that much how detailed the graphics look. Oh, and if you think the story sucks you obviously haven't gotten very far into the game.

@epicdavid I completely respect your opinion. Lol my name is David too and seeing it with the word epic just made me laugh haha. Don`t get me wrong graphics are little to care I still bough Chrono Cross last year for a borrowed play station 1 and hell that I had a GREAT time. Is is actually not the graphics but the graphic artistic direction a game takes (specially for an RPG) that adds or take much more from the game, it is not pixels but creativity, colors, feelings, environments......

@epicdavid as for Voice Acting I will stand for one thing: If you are going to do something, do it well. Otherwise it is just made for filling holes that could be filled with something better. And the story I played about the first 6-8 hours and there were no sings of an interesting story. I say a good book should keep you interested from page 1 to the end. But it is good thing that at least you enjoyed the game! Me? I will keep crossing my fingers for Last Story and Xenoblade localization ;)

I think 2009 is going to be a good year for Wii. Madworld, Conduit, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles 2, and this will be keeping me busy for a long time.

um, wtf is wrong with the character models... good trailer but they need to put more work into these games, especially in the eyecandy. im not a graphics whore, but i like my wii to get the treatment it deserves

I agree. I think the game looks great, but I feel like developers are afraid to use any texture mapping on the Wii. Everything looks like simple shaded polys. One day some team will make real awesome graphics on the Wii.

You got that right. I've seen better graphics on the GameCube and the old X-Box (duh). Developers are just not taking the Wii seriously. It's rather pathetic, considering what time we're in.

i want something with a nice cartoonish feel, but its got to have some real flavour to it, like a anime/cgi cross, how hella cool would that be! seriously though, you could push the wii so much further, fuck all these party games and sucky stuff thats so crap its not even worth watching, we need some more adventurous designers at the top of the game companies
