I've tried your recipes when we are having picnic in the beach...in my surprise my husband and all of my friends loved it! Thank you jack for this great recipe, I've been looking for this.
jack! another knife tip is to rock the knife and move the object your cutting under the blade with you bent fingers like u have them now, you just push with the palm of your hand or your thumb, the tip of the blade should never leave the board it feels like im in more contorl when i do it, and the chefs i have at school say its safer =D just thought i would send a tip your way!
Hey Jack, I have an idea for you. I want to see you on your "natural" state so to speak so what I'm really saying is you should record your self just making dinner for your family like any other night. P.S add Jack jr. if possible lol
They look awesome Jack!!! And, most people believe the meat should fall off a rack of ribs. WRONG! They should have a little pull. Yours looked perfect!!! MMmmmmmm
@FrailShiver Just be careful. You get addicted to Ribs really easy. They are the drugs of meat. I just can't stop eating ribs, i would eat them every day if i could.
@SuperProit he said its dinner for his family and/or friends. Even tho... that amount of ribs would just have been enough for me.... damn i love ribs so much.
Hopefully that boy of yours will start up his own cooking with jack show just like his good father. I could see it now. "Cooking with Jack Jr" So you better teach him and teach him well if he does decide to go down that route. I will subscribe to him too.
hey man...I have never seen a cook cutting onion so badly as you do, peeling an egg in the most complicated way and all in all can´t cook at all. How can anyone follow you? I think that people already lost their way in cooking and it is so sad:(
@matesmrioslav he's not a cook! he's just a normal charming funny guy who likes to make food and show's he's passios with us and make it to one funny show. He also give us ideas for recipies in a fun way. Geez dont take everything so serious.
why would you cut the root end off the onion? now u have nothing to keep the onion in tack when cutting try each way and see the difference, only trying to help try cutting the top end off, then cut in half and peel, and cut as you normally would.
If ur looking for a Hawaiian dish, sub bell peppers for the habenaros and rub it on fish or chicken. Made it tonight with both and the family loved it! Keep rockin jack!
jack, speaking of knife skills, there is a much easier way to mince an onion, don't cut off the root and the root end will hold it together, look up how to mince an onion, there are videos on how to properly do it. Its easier, faster and safer.
@UnOxonien sorry i don't understand what can be disgusting on the size of a coffee cup? And how about europe where people sometimes order "a can of coffee" for a single person? Which is about 2-3 normal Cups, and not much less than that? I would also place a bet that this is some type of milk coffee, latte or something like that. Those are ALWAYS in big cups, all over the world....
@djteac Please, don't apologize. I don't expect you to have travelled, but I think it might be a prerequisite if you're going to make comment: I've lived in Switzerland, France, England, and the USA; I travel a lot. American coffee cups are Starbucks are larger than their British counterparts, and the British ones are larger than the European ones. I have never heard of a "can" of coffee. In Europe, a latte is like a cappucino except the milk is not frothy. It need not be larger.
@mrkrabz1991 if they look rubbery then they are usually cooked too fast.
To get them fall off the bone, use low heat and lots of time. And the problem with Jack Jr. was that he somehow seems to have forgotten how to eat ribs. He tried to bite them the wrong way lol
jack if u leave ur grill on for 5 minuits with aluminum foil on the grill after ur done grilling the grime on the grill will come right off; and you dont have to clean it with a brush
@lgshowshow Taking the seeds out will drop the heat a lot, however if you still find it too hot, you can stir in a dollop or two of cream, milk, coconut milk, or yoghurt(until it cools enough for your taste), when its over low heat to keep it from curdling. This way you can keep the flavour of the Habanero but lose some heat. If you do adjust the heat of it, you should keep a little of the original on hand for guests that like it extra spicy.

Only complaint is that the ribs looked more well done than my carnivorous desires can allow, but damn it looked good. :D
Invisableman111 8 months ago
@Invisableman111 They did look overcooked, ribs should easily fall off the bone, not be rubbery like they looked when his kid was trying to eat one.
