  • The definition of Total Rock n Roll

  • Why this song was not in the album? Is one of the best of 80s Queen , in my opinion

  • Reverse psychology, well played Queen, well played :P

  • It just shows what a dreadful time the 80s was for music that Brian clearly couldn't convince the rest of the band to put this on The Works. It sounds much better than Hammer To Fall or Tear It Up studio versions too.

Still, we got to hear it as a B-Side at least.

  • Love it, should have been an A side itself.

  • This is a great song and better than the other Brain May compositions from THE WORKS.

  • Nice song... but I can understand why they only released it as a b-side, cause it sounds more like a Brian May solo track/demo, with Queen vocals on it...

  • Queen is better than beatles!!! even better than sex!!!! lol

  • "I don't wanna go and see Q...." NEVER, I NEVER sing this lyrics!

It's too difficult to tell this, because I want to see Brian May and Roger Taylor on stage!!!!

    It's my dream!

  • @queenchristel Oh get in line! I VOW to see Brian May and Roger Taylor play live one day! Apparently they're planning something in the U.S. for 2012 or something, you can bet money I'm taking leave and hopping my ass on a plane to go back home to see them perform!

  • @Robin360 Sadly, keep waiting. There's no plans for anything this year except that tribute band crap Roger put together. So, unless you're willing to settle for that, there's NO 'Queen' tour to see. The supposed album was called off, and Roger's decided against his solo bit as well. Massive disappointment, since it was all we were bound to get, with Brian May being so...busy. -.-;; Did you see them with Paul Rodgers? What an awesome show they gave! Saw them in Cleveland. Worth the crappy seats.

  • The best song never issued on an album? Discuss...

  • 2:27 amazing Roger!!!

  • 6 people are going crazy after hearing this song

  • i love this song ... but y is it a b-side ..... this song is legendary :) :(

  • I love this song! I don't know why it was only a b-side, because not only should it have been on the album, it should've been a single, too!

@FREDDIEMANIAC I've been aware of Queen's existence for a significant portion of my life, but I've never really listened to them beyond the few singles that get radio spins until well over a year ago. It's really surprising to see how underrated and underappreciated they are stateside, especially for a band as massive as Queen.

  • That guy was a Moron.

No girlfriend is worth not listening to Queen for, least of all one who cheats on you.

  • this should have been on the works album!

  • Fantastic Pictures! Where did you get them??

  • Dave: where did you get hold of all the pictures?

  • This was better than half of The Works. Never understand why this was left off instead of MANY of the others. Even a few hits!

  • Rock music might as well go ahead and throw in the towel, without Queen and Freddie =(

  • Great to hear this again! My fave of the non-album b-sides. This rough b-side is better than the best of so many 80s rock bands that sound like this. I can imagine (with a little bit of a production work) this could have been a hit in the USA as a single itself; and sadly it was when they went off the radar there.

  • @EYEmusique....I'm still trying to figure that out. But, being an American, I feel so guilty to have only discovered Queen 2yrs ago. They just weren't given proper airplay, while other groups' crap was shoved down our throats. Any one of Queen's hidden gems are so far superior to most bands' 'hits.'

Queen is, by far, the most amazing band on the planet! Ever!! And, Freddie.....there are no words for the phenomenon of genius, passion, & magic!!

  • @FREDDIEMANIAC Lucky... it's only been 2 months for me!

  • @sAWfr3ak....Welcome to the world of Queen! But, a word of warning: they're highly addictive! And there's no cure.......Thank God!!

  • Great song and great pictures! Where did you get them??

  • im think im going crazy

  • me encanta este tema!!

  • sum reason queen left out best tracks to feature on albums, such a waste...i agree heavia tracks should of bin released instead of euro pop trash, democracy my ass

  • @amr7037 Agree, this, Soul Brother, A Human Body and ALL of the non album Miracle singles were better than songs on the albums they could have been on!

  • @BestMusicExpert

I agree, I go Crazy could be a good rock and roll ironic single. The B-side not inclded into album are better than some track of the original album.

  • 2:56 hehehe john is so cool :o

  • My name is Adrian ... I live in romania .. EUROPE .... queen died when I was little and when he broke the news on television the whole family started crying even news presenter ... was loved and will be loved anywhere in this world have loved R.I.P. Queen ..:((

  • I like this song very much! So Cool!

  • First time hearing! All these years... What great lyrics! I'll pretend it's a new release. That should keep me going for a few days, weeks, months. QUEEN FOREVER!

  • queen deberia sacar ya una antologia no creen

  • This song Should be an A-Side :D

  • i remember buying the radio ga ga single back in early 84 before even hearing the song when i put radio ga ga on i though i wish they would of released a heavier track to prove to the metal heads queen was back than i put this on and my god i peed my pants and said brian is back on form EEEEHHHAAAAA

  • Gaga is a masterpiece

  • @1980Triumph ofc its a masterpiece . to mix together such nontalent , low IQ and style lie her ya i agree ! :D

  • que buena es esta música.. decente

  • I always LOVED this song!!! ROCK!!!!

  • lol long lost queen song to me X)

i own this old Radio Gaga single with this song on the B side, but due to lack of a player handling vinyls i never heard this song :D

  • SWEET !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ^_^/m/

  • Magnifico!!!

  • Great song. Somewhat ... disturbing lyrics, though.

[All I gotta do is get my hands on you; better stay away from me baby?]

  • A skilled group like Queen getting a little crazy for a while produces pretty awesome work because they don't do this too often. Very simple song but loads of energy and Queen in a state you don't usually see them in.

  • Pic at 3.10. Maine Road Manchester 1986.

I was right at the front. Brilliant gig. Happy days. :)

  • perfect song for the works album

  • I love this song! I have the remastered The Works CD :)

  • GEE!! amazing!!

  • beautiful pic at 3.11

  • fantastic rock music.... we miss you freddie

  • You know what makes me go crazy is not listening to queen for a day. I NEED my daily dose of queen or my day is royaly screwed.

  • LOL, I completely agree!

SADLY, I'm getting shipped off to Navy boot camp this month, so that means NO Queen for TWO MONTHS!

    I'll die!

  • omg!! hope things go well... even without queen :(

  • @Robin360 its been two months have you had your queen prescribtion yet? keep rocking babe

  • @Robin360 I attended an Oubound Course for 4 weeks back in the day (Spring 1985) where music wasn't allowed. It was a nightmare...when the course was over I had to play I Go Crazy continually for a fortnight. At this point I realised that I was physically addicted to the music of Queen - much like some people are addicted to cocaine...

  • come on queen, kick ass !!!!!!!!

  • I love how they use their own name in it :D soo funny XD

  • As usual they made another great song.

  • i have this single in vinil! so great... i always wondered why does not featured on the works lp...

  • Love this song!!

    Freddie....as always.....great job!!

I Go Crazy , too, if I go too long without hearing your beautiful voice and seeing your gorgeous face!!!.....FREDDIE!!!!

  • omg.amazing....first time ı listened it..great song and voıice.

  • go for "stealing" song ;-)

  • i have it..is rare?

  • A bit, I guess.

  • This is a really, really great song.

  • I'm going to guess that Freddie wrote this song, cause he was the only member badass enough (John, Roger, and Brian are all awesome, don't get me wrong) to actually reference or make fun of the band in a song.

  • No, sorry. It's sheer May all the way.

  • lol, read the description:

"B side to Radio Ga Ga. Written by Brian May"

  • it isn't on any album at all!

  • This track actually appears on the US and Canadian remastered reissues of The Works album which was released on CD in November of 1991 here in the US and in Canada as Queen are on Hollywood Records in the US and Canada and on EMI elsewhere in the world. The Works remaster was the best of the Hollywood Records reissues (that and the first two Queen albums where they included Mad the Swine and See What a Fool I've Been as bonus tracks respectively).

  • It appears on the singles collection volume 2 CD.

  • Awesome! King Mercury!

  • The true king : Freddie Mercury

  • The true king : Freddie Mercury

  • awesome song!!!!!!!!! Queen Rocks!!!

  • Probably Queen's best b-side track

  • totalmente de acuerdo.

  • Do you hear how the opening section sounds a bit like the opening of "Machines (or back to humans)" ?

  • Love this !!

Love the fast ones !!! But love the slow ones, too !!!

    I guess I just LOVE QUEEN !!!!!!!!!!

    FREDDIE ROCKSSSSSSSSSSS !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I LOVE this. I wonder who Brian wrote this about...does anyone know??? You can sense his anger in the lyrics...

  • Very Ted Nugent-ish I think. song rocks. hands down.

  • Don't wanna go and see Queeeeeeen no mo :)

  • I Love this

  • I love this song. Not sure why, but I do! I often find myself humming it during the day.

  • So I ain't gonna go and see the Rolling Stones no more, no more

I don't wanna go to see Queen no more, no more

I ain't gonna go and see the Rolling Stones no more, no more

I don't wanna go and see Queen no more, no more

    Haha brilliant xD

  • what is the blondes name??

  • I think you mean Roger Taylor?

  • The greates drummer to ever walk the planet! :D

  • Comment removed

  • Roger Taylor :)

  • if i have to tell the truth. the works is one of the great albums of queen.

  • i totally agree it is the best album certainly of the 80s queen and all bands i wished they would of toured north american to support the album it would of boosted sales from gold level to 5x platinum especially with that stage lighting system and sound thank god for dvds

  • yeah. its a genius song. All Queensongs a genius, but this one is very genius^^. got it on my computer ,too

  • BEM loouuuco!

  • I Go Crazy should definately have been on The Works original, without a doubt.

  • your so-right!!!!

  • The first time i've heard this song was in Mexicali, México around 1983. It came from a USA far radio station (Coachella Valley I think).

Since then I've been looking for this song... Until now.

    Thank you very much.

  • wont have been 83 mate its the b side of radio ga ga from the works and the works came out in 84 queen did work on the works the year before 83 so there fore we the fans did not here the works till it was releast in 84

  • some really rare pics...thanks!

  • The hell of a song! Or the heaven of it? Never heard it before!!!

  • This was the song that made me realize 'there's life in the old dog yet' - it was very unfashionable to like Queen in the mid 80's - around the time of Live Aid - and we know what happened there...talk about blowing away an audience. Anyway - this was an inspired b-side which proved that Queen could rock. Not to mention to trade off vocals with Freddie and Roger at the end.

    Superb.

  • Yeaaah what a greaaat song ! It's the first time I hear it. Wow !

  • wow, I am listening to this song for the first time even though I have had it on a vinyl for years ;) ;)

  • You can clearly hear the influence of Status Quo here.

  • Yeah They shoulda had a few more songs on that album , I mean 9 songs thats just taking the Piss . Thats the reason why when I first got into Queen I left this album out cos already had 4 of the songs on Greatest Hits 2 so there was no way I was gonna pay £ 16.00 for 5 songs , the works could've squeezed on 12 songs

  • in the days of vinyl recordings...song space was much more limited...tho the works came out on cd as well the main format was still vinyl which if you had the vinyl copy you would notice it nears the usual 45 minute time....and my british friend....MACHINES(back to humans) is worth ohhhh 25-30 pounds on its one

  • q lokaso sale freddie en la ultima foto!!!

    excelente

    great :D

  • eh!!

    lindas imagenes

    great song!!!

  • thank you brian for this song!!!!!!!!

    love queen forever,FREDDIE THE BEST!!!!

  • I think it's just a wink to The Roling Stones. They produce the 'Stonessound' of that era, and in the middle Freddie is singing lik Mick Jagger. Later on the song emerges in the old well known Queensound.

  • Apparently the story behind this song is about a girl who went to a Queen gig with backstage passes, and ended up doing 'It' with Freddie...

And then her boyfriend found out, and really hated Queen forevermore...

  • why would you hate a band just b/c they were with your girl? I mean my hubby said he'd be proud if a celebrity even wanted to with me b/c he figures if a celebrity was attracted to me then he must have a great wife. lmao

  • ;) ;) you may be right ;)

  • thanx :)

  • gotta luv how they make a reference to thier band!

  • This was originally the B-side to Radio Ga Ga in the UK.This is a fantastic rocker in the same mould as Headlong.Should of been on The Works.

  • yeah just another Great Queen Song that was wasted...its underrated

  • can't believe this wasn't a single, but just a b-side.

heard it 1st time from "The Complete Works"

  • Probably my favourite Queen non-album b-side. A great rocking tune

  • Same here!

  • wow!!! impresionante!!

  • Another awesome Queen song that was almost never released!! QUEEN ROCK!!

  • these guys were nothing but talented, just hear that... this was only a no big deal b side

  • Its a Brian song that missed the cut on the Works. The band apparantly were embarassed by it, which is a pity as I love it.

  • It appears on the US remaster of The Works released in 1991 as a bonus track and it could have fit at the end of Side One.

  • Thanks!I collect all your video-david!

  • Thanks. Anyone know if there's a background story to this song? The lyrics actually give Queen a name-check which is pretty rare.
