Here in Singapore, it's 7 bucks a ticket, and I sneak food into the movie theatres. Also, I get easily bored when watching TV at home because I don't feel the pressure to keep watching. There's something to the big screen that makes it a different experience.

So, no, I'd go to the theatre if I'd really thought it worthwhile (friends' reviews, the net, etc). I don't usually watch movies, anyway.
