EE1 was the best in series, I always remember how I used to suck at that game so I made enemy AI stay in stone age forever while using modern era tanks and a-bombs to own club-wielding apes :D

Rofl I have had this wretched piece of shit for a few years now it took 3 TIMES to actually try enjoying the game after playing it for a day on the 3rd time i found it some what enjoyable but still found it terrible your units suck...The gameplay is terrible the jokes your units make are fucking annoying and also why do they give you an ancient warrior the Javelin and an ancient worker when your in colonial,modern or Future?

It might just be me, but i found EE2 more immersive then the EE1...all though i am a sucker for nukes . The original game was awesome hardcore, but that sometimes was a problem to me. Nukes were awesome though. EE2 felt better to me...and it removed Nuclear Submarines and added ICBMs...a recipe for disaster. I'm just a sucker for nukes, I've bought games because they've had nukes in it...also i like how EE2 actually felt like i was building a civilization. Both are good games! 8.1/10 for both.

Good Real Time Strategy is primarily about Strategy, Not Theatrics. If we want to watch a movie, we'll go watch a movie. Those of us who are veteran lovers of EE original and the classic RTS genre understand this. The developers should have learned from the fact that a 7+ year old Empire Earth Gold Edition is still selling successfully in the $20+ range and kept the old multiplayer arena online. Seasoned RTS players don't like being nosed out by dumbed-down graphics-excessive monstrosities.

SimCity 4 was a game that fans loved, as were all the game versions before it; then EA released "SimCity Societies" and - sure enough - it was a dumbed down caricature of the original designed to appeal to the teenage console gamers. The realistic urban simulator fan crowd was repulsed, and still plays SC4 to this day. The modern gaming industry lost its smart edge.

Empire Eearth III sucks, really! There was only one good thing, and that was that futuristic commander who said "stop scratching your ass". EE1 was best from these. this EE3 dont even have very many unist, graphics aint very good and its laggy. Warhammer 40k DoW is much better. I think it has better graphics and it runs PERFECTLY on fullHD and everything in full settings. So i recommend that game, EVEN it is differend from this game.

EE2 annoyed the hell out of me mainly because it played like they dliberately took everything that made 1 good and ripped it out. It played more like a mutated cross of AOE & RON.

EE1: 15 epochs from prehistoric to space age, many different teams with special bonuses though every team looks the same, and 7 long campaigns with nice storylines, from the founding of the greek empire to a fictional story about a chinese colony on mars. EE2: 15 epochs, dropped space stage, added variety between teams(asian looks asian and so on) 6 campaigns.

EE3: 5 epochs no campaigns.

The appeal of Empire Earth was that you got to command the forces across all of history and into the future while giving an impression of warfare of that Era.

That is the coolest and hardest campaign in EE(russian).The only problematic mission was the second one-You have to destroy four capitols that are heavily defended and you are alone againts six nations.
