  • I really like this song so much I sing this everyday. Thank you for sharing the video

  • Yes, Linda, it does remind one of Bro. Stan--

  • Reminds me of Stan Broussard. Thank you.

  • This reminds me so much of S. Brousard. It is a great reminder of where our priorities need to be. Yes. Let me have Jesus.

  • @lindaintennessee -- Yes, I know what you mean about Bro. Stan

  • This is a hauntingly beautiful song, as are most from your congregation. I've seen several different song leaders; many leading multiple songs, but none with such a beautiful and humble voice as Brother Paul Kitzmille, as he leads "Our God is Alive," and that's the only time I've been able to find him. I keep listening for that sweet voice from the congregation, but can't detect it from there.

  • Bro. Kitzmiller is not a member @ CherrySt--he was a guest song leader that night--he preaches for the Ralph Ave church in Louisville and is involved in missions in Russia and now in the Ukraine

  • Thanks for this info about Bro. Kitzmiller.....I do enjoy all your postings, as well as those from many other congregational ones.

  • We are re teaching some of these songs and parts to our congregation and I think your videos will come in extremely handy. Thanks for posting them!

  • Might want to consider singing all the verses when posting online.... May be those verses left out that make the difference in the life of another. Just a thought... :-)

  • i love it im church of christ too!

  • Thanks a lot for the kind words of encouragement--Larry

  • Not only is A Capella the only type of singing allowed in the bible but its so much more beautiful to listen to

God bless you all My brothers and sisters in Christ

  • 1st, good job Kevin Parr.. Now, 'godslilgirl' lol, are you kidding me? do we just tear out the book of psalms and pretend it never existed? =D Be Blessed.

  • hey thanks for the correction... I kinda worded it wrong. I meant to say that it's the only type of singing that is authorized in the New testament. I do admit that insterments were used in the old but we are not under the old law any more sorry it took so long to get back to. God bless

  • whats the name of ur church, it reminds me of the puritants and i want to visit

  • this one could use the organ :)

  • amen
