Best pizza in NY that i have had so far is from Zero Otto Nove, Arthur Ave in teh Bronx. The owner is from salerno & he brought his pizziaolo from there too. This Una Pizza Napoletana looks expensive but sometime ill give it a go!

Thanks for the recommendation for Zero Otto Nove! I've been meaning to try Louie & Ernie's in the Bronx too. As for Una Pizza...you'll have to travel to San Francisco now if you want to try it. The pizza tastes so good though that I might just go for that reason alone. Thanks for the comment.

Be careful what you offer because I may just take you up on it. Una Pizza Napoletana makes a delicious pie and has a line down the street every night. For that reason, I condone the high price. Sadly, I cannot afford it on any regular basis but I do look forward to returning. Thanks for your comment!

$21 a pie is just too much. Must be the rent along with the high quality ingredients but i bet it's just an average pie by Neapolitan standards (hint: the water for the dough is key folks)

This guy has his audience and is now milking them for everything its worth. If you can afford this pizza you could probably afford to fly to Naples for the weekEnd to get the real thing.

Water is not the key moron they have done tests with a bunch or different water types and they all came out the same. Everyone here is just jealous because he has a good product and obviously no one cares about the prices because he has a 100 foot line out the DOOR. Haters make the world go round.

Una pizza napoletana in New York is the nearest thing to a REAL pizza in Naples.

It is VERY good. Really VERY good!

Having said so, a pizza in one of the greatest (not ALL!) pizzerias in Naples is still the best.

And 21 bucks for an individual pizza is quite a robbery...

Having been to Naples many times and eating many pizzas there that looks like the real thing and even at 21 dollars a pie it is more economical than going to the effort and expense of travelling to Italy.
