She is not underated. In the early 90's Fender put out a Bonnie Raitt Series guitar. RStone Mag, and Fender both have reffered to her as one of the best slide guitarist in thw WORLD!!!! Thats not being overated. People care alot more about what Rollin Stone mag and Fender Guitars have to say than what yall jack wagons do.

This woman is one of the most down to earth entertainers I've ever had the pleasure of working with. I'll never forget how real and cool she was and she wouldn't hesitate to sit down across from me at one of the folding tables a caterer set up with no makeup and empty orange concentrate containers as rollers in her hair (perhaps they don't make roller that big, or she's recycles?) The woman is amazing and beautiful, even with no makeup and rollers!

Bonnie performed at the very first concert i went to, maybe '70 or '71. She was the opening act. Pretty funny I have no idea who the head liner was. She blew me away. Fred McDowell is long gone but his music lives in people like Bonnie. Thanks to Bonnie for the many years of enjoyment you have given blues fans.
