So basically it locks back the same way as the old Beretta .32's that came out back in WWII

I have one of these. They are unreliable until you get about 500 rounds thru it. I almost sold mine until I found out. Now it works flawlessly with CCI minimags. I probably have 300 rounds thru it now without a problem.
This gun will malfunction with cheap ammo. Use the high velocity ammo.
The weapon condition of the pistol doesn't answer my question. There needs to be a follower that engages a slide release. On all of my pistols and rifles there is a slide release, with 1 exception: a .22 rifle that had a pseudo last shot hold open (the follower held the bolt back) when the mag was yanked out the bolt did not remain to the rear. So my new, even more specific question is; does this Berreta have a slide release or was one fabricated, or does the mag follower hold the slide back?

Thats what i was thinking, but typically the magazine follower will engage a metal slide stop. The .25 da/sa beretta, is absent of any notch in the slide. Maybe the .22 comes with that.

@gunlover1911 a 22 will only have a velocity of 1,347 feet per second when fired from a long rifle barrel. when fired from a little pocket gun, the .22 has the same power as a .25
Actually the .22 is one of the most popular calibers among assassins due to the fact tha it has just enough energy to penetrate the skull but usually not exit. This causes the bullet to then rattle around in the skull causing massive brain damage. It is exceptionally easy to kill someone with a .22. I feel like you probably haven't had much experience with one.

i have one of these. id much rather carry my .40, however no one is gonna like getting shot by a .22 so ill take my chances with one of these against throwing a rock.
whoever said it wont chamber a round... well thats true if you dont clean them or shoot hotter loads. but after i started shooting some cci stingers it made the difference between night and day.

did you throw it in the water after you shot it? those little smokers are not my favorite. Heard too many bad things about them like cracked frames. Also the casing certainly did not eject very far. Almost came close to falling back on the gun. But, I'm glad you're happy with it.

If you've never shot this gun quite talking shit. It's an amazing piece of machinery, and is pin point accurate. I can hit the 9 ring with this gun at 25 yrds. nice modification by the way!

ok lets see a BB gun shoots at 320 feet per second and does 2 pounds of energy while a
.22LR (long rifle for you inexpirienced people like you)shoots at 1,347 feet per second and does 114 pounds of energy wich is more than a .25 caliber bullet wich is much bigger.and a desert eagle is shit.just because you use guns in COD4 dosent mean you know about firearms so shut the fuck up!

@gunlover1911 a 22 will only have a velocity of 1,347 feet per second when fired from a long rifle barrel. when fired from a little pocket gun, the .22 has the same power as a .25

Actually the .22 is one of the most popular calibers among assassins due to the fact tha it has just enough energy to penetrate the skull but usually not exit. This causes the bullet to then rattle around in the skull causing massive brain damage. It is exceptionally easy to kill someone with a .22. I feel like you probably haven't had much experience with one.
