He is not literally hating on other Jewish people, you would know this if you seen the his film where he shames / mocks people who stereotype, are sexist, hate other religions and cultures etc. He uses a lot of satire. As for the hat, some only wear it during prayer whilst others see it customary to wear it beyond this.

He uses Borat to show people up for what they really are, one of the best examples of this was "Throw the Jew Down the Well" by getting people to sing along to it and clearly being antisemitic.

@ricosuavable You are seeing this as Borat, they were seeing it as someone else, they had no idea who or what Borat was, this was during the "Ali G" stage and as far as i know was either originally on "The 11 o'clock show" or "Da Ali G Show" in the UK.
They sang along cause they were rednecks, fundamentally religious and/or racist. Maybe others joined in because of the crowd mentality but there were CLEARLY those who relished every word with malice

He deliberately goes out to show up people for how stupid and sometimes simply racist they are. That's what Ali G did, that's what Borat did brilliantly and even Bruno has had some great moments, different but equally shocking.
I can't see how you can deny that some of these people clearly relished the derogatory sentiment.
