its actually very simple , just eat , and eat more and eat more then you'll grow and dive deeper and eat more until you find a egg and if you eat that egg you earn a new availble creature, with the expansion pack you can make foto's as well and get a new creature ,it sounds quite boring but if you want to have a cheap game with nice music and relaxing gameplay its great :)

Even then, the focus of the game is different to that of Spore, which is more centered on building a civilisation from cells all the way to super computers. Most importantly, in flOw the gameplay is quite different to the simpler style of Spore's cell stage. But I can understand why some might find the games very similar ;)
