@punkOmatic86 None - put if you go to a few stores they add up...I basically worked my way around london and exeter looking for 54-60 reissues, and chose the one with the best acoustic tone to my ears. Good luck with your search!
i also play electric guitars acoustically when testing them.. Guitars really do ring against your body. I also check the natural harmonics. .some sing more than others.
@TheStruggle66 it depends... What do you want to learn? I heard Peter Green and Eric Clapton, wanted to play like that, so decided to play 6 string electric! basically, play the guitar that is most suited to the type of music you want to play
Do you have any tips where to shop for Les Pauls, SGs and the like in the London area? I just moved to London and wanted to find some good stores. Thanks!
@johnbeloe I checked out a few stores there - Vintage and Rare Guitars is cool - but I didn't really find a shop with a big selection of the latest Gibson custom stuff (like being able to compare several R7s e.g.). But I will ask around maybe there is something off the beaten path...thanks
Are you capable of speaking at all? =) .. I read all th einfo in the side bar.. but explanations are often elaborated and expressed better with voice. Nice vid though .. your guitar sounds great. There's a good video on Youtube of GaryMoore, and his opinion on choosing a guitar. In the GuitarTechniques magazine edition with him being interviewed. GaryMoore is one of my most listened to guitarists!
You're right, it would have definitely made for a better video, but it would have taken me a while to explain all that, meaning I would probably exceed the youtube maximum file size, and so would have to compress the video to upload it, which would result in pretty poor sound quality - sorry
can you tell me which store has 20 R6 Goldtops in stock? So far i havent even seen one somwhere...!?
