  • This is a great video series Sir, thanks for sharing this.

  • Sounds like TEQUIIIILA SUNRISEEEEEE!

  • i have the same guitr

  • Check out David Lindley's solo on "Late for the Sky" to hear this lick in action. Thanks for the vid -- very clear and helpful.

  • really nice

  • I can't do it, so I slide up a fret, then bend that note to the E, sounds pretty similar just not so smooth. :)

  • n1ce! you look bad-ass, but in a kind way!

  • Love the head mic. Can you sing like Don Henley?!

  • Watt tuning

  • his guitar sounds kinda buzzy

  • wouldnt want to get in a brawl with that chunky fucker

  • @Lukeyboi14 i would

  • Nashville Cats!

  • This guy is using his middle finger to help the pinky make that bend! why doesn't he tell that??? It's kinda an important step and how is he doing it???? every time I use the middle finger to help the pitch jumps up too much and isn't smooth sounding. anyone know how he's making the transition so smooth??

  • @tecnolover2642 he is 'not' using his middle finger at all-he is pulling a whole step with his index- just remember to pull hard!!!!

  • @sjuozhunki

Ooops, I meant "index" not pinky in that last post,, but I think you cleared it up for me! Thanks!

  • @tecnolover2642 try listening to some of the hellecasters music- it is in almost every song especially orange blossom special- and jerry donahue will blow your mind if you want stretches- watch out for the "behind the nut bends"

  • @tecnolover2642 hes using the middle finger to bend the note...the index finder helps his middle finger bend it. the pinky and ring finger hold continuous notes....anyways u should be able to figure it out DAWG. without him telling u

  • @1995Rainman No he is not using the middle finger to bend it at all... He's using the index finger only.

    look at it again....

  • @heyjude: how bout ear+brain

  • how about tellin us what posistion u r in

  • Great bend, I've been using it for decades, works well on the A and D strings too bending the D. You can also use it on some minor chords in whatever particular scale/prgression you're in, just bend the note/3rd a half step.

  • @badjesus666 why did they give you thumbs down for your comment?..dont see how thats bad?

  • I dunno either, probably a couple people uptight about my screen name getting all 700 clubish on me...

  • @badjesus666 perhaps it is because choosing a name like that appears to be intended to just piss people off and draw attention to yourself-like having hooks and posts and multiple cranium accessories. You want attention, go about it in a negative way, then criticise people who are put off by it. I can mostly look past that stuff now but find it curious that people set up this negative cycle for themselves.

  • @raftindave I apologize if I've offended your childish sensibilities. Feel free to private message me with whatever other grievances you may have rather than spam up the comments of this cool video with your negative perceptions. Thank you and have a great day, keep on pickin... :-)

  • That's a bitch of a lick to play, but great.
