Oh my........Mark smokes? I am disappointed. I had a feeling with all the videos I've seen him chewing gum. Has he stopped smoking since? My boyfriend smokes, can't stand that. I knew Mark had to have a flaw somewhere. So bummed. Still love their music though.
well my friend alot of eurpeans smoke .. i think its a big part of their culture in aspects ... its not like over here in north america where its been banned in most public places .. I think there would be an 'all out revolte' in parts of Europe if they tried it there .. and I hate smoking myself .. but that takes time ..
Most terrible sound I ever heard live with any band for the first 45 mins :( Ruined the whole concert... Couldn't hear the bass at all. Mark shouted "Turn the bass up" in the midle of a song, so I guess somebody told him hehe
When I saw them back in the days when Mark was using 4 Trace Elliot 4x10 cabs his sound was crap. Not sure why he wasn't using 15s as well as the 10s. It sounded way too trebly and didn't carry well.
The Trace Elliot AH600 amp with 10s and 15s is incredible. When Mark Goodday left TE and started Ashdown, a new standard was created in bass amplification.
That was hilarious!!! But now I'm confused. I watched the Play At Home docs on here, and notice Mark smoking on stage. I thought he picked up that (rather annoying) habit of gum chewing to give up the cigs. Now I see him spitting the gum and taking up a light! What's the deal!!! :)
I wonder what chewing gum he uses...

I always felt that Trace Elliot bass cabinets lacked enough watts to carry a good sound.
