I'm going to be during a burnout in front of the church, after my wedding. I'll be using a 2011 GT500 mustang... I'm thinking it'll be a similar technique to this?
Dont do this at home... even thought im going to tell you step by step instructions on how to do this at your home. And you probably looked at this video so you can do this at your home
im just wondering, does it matter if you have LSD to do a burnout or not? I do and just would like to know if that could possibly hinder the ability to burnout, sorry kinda nub when it comes to axles and shit like that
Its also fun when you hold it down for 30 sec, then its a badass beast! well in a 2010 Chevy Texas edition its better when you hold it down for about 30 sec. THEN its a beast.
@smellyjewishkid Put the car in drive, hold down the break and put your foot on the gas. Push the gas in while holding the break and gently let off the break. Once you have let off the break, the car will move and you'll have to steer it and try to keep it spinning. I have a video on my channel of me doing a burnout in my Matador, you can check that out to see what will happen if you do the steps correctly. Hope this helps :)
@smellyjewishkid No problem! I've never tried to do a burnout in a front wheel drive car, so I'm not sure how to do a good burnout in one. But the technique I told you works well in a rear wheel drive car.
@GuitarProNZ I do, will try this tomorrow on the way to work :) and then get pulled over, get arrested, lose my clearance, move back to my mom's house....ok nm.
do it on a wet puddle area on a dry road.. u can burn out all day.. well if ur not doing it for some show or to get more grip at launch.. I would say it's a waste of money cause the car will wear faster in numerous areas, brake, tire, engine, fluids, transmission
secret is to get the tires spinning a bit on a peel out then jump on the brake with like 1/2 travel and hold full throttle then boom ur burning out in one spot..
u can modulate each but I suggest doing that first to make sure the rear tires r moving and the car isn't.. u will cook away ur rear brake pads and thread life but not as much as u would think..
For all you gearheads out there, please view our channel for buying modified Ford Mustangs! We do the same Hurst Shifter knob, the Roush Supercharge engine modification kit, and muffle upgrades. New videos of our Supercharger Mustangs will be up soon!
I have a '05 GTO with some mods. I let the clutch out with no throttle applied. I go a few feet & stomp on the throttle & at the same time cover the brake with my left foot. Once it breaks loose I back out of the throttle, there's no need to redline the engine. I can let the clutch out of my car at idle with no throttle, it just moves forward. I can then shift into second, third & fourth with no throttle, it just moves forward. big low end torque is your friend.
@biggrigger332 I've been thinking about doing that, we don't have camera's in the parking lot...graduation next year me and like 10 other kid are definitely gonna do it.
@rusu959 Left leg is for brake!!! learn how professional driving is, maybe in nascar it is, but rally, time attack, formel 1 GT500 left foot braking is common!
@FalloutZombie2010 Not that simple. Ebrake gas till your rpms are high enough undo ebrake. Even then in a lower power car. It won't give an amazing effect it's a simple way to do it though.
@Abraham2nd traction control turn it off so ur rear tires will spin more freely and allow u to not absolutely roast ur brake pads....assuming ur talking about a RWD car
Save yourself 2:17; wet down a cement surface, put on brakes all the way, give it a little gas and as soon as the tires slip let off the brake and floor the gas
@Mauser2012 no and yes. put your left foot on the brake and gently apply the gas. once you hear the rear wheels start to spin, push the gas down harder and keep going as lon as you want. its really easy.
ok yea so take traction control off so your not buying new brake pads ok so let off the clutch hit brake and gas umm yea that makes so much fucking sense
Im 16 and i get my license in 29 days so me and my dad were driving and we pulled up to a light and an audi A4 pulled up beside me and wanted to race so my dad told me to race him!! I have a 98 Acura ti 3.2litre... I SMOKED HIM!
