  • Aguila701 , YOU R THE BEST:)))

  • Thank you very much . The process is really easy . Thanks again

  • If you are having trouble with any of these methods, go to Security tool removal in 3 easy steps by Aluoch500. It's 29 seconds long and helped me finally get rid of this virus!

  • LOL I like the final step at 1:12!! Good job [only I just kept the number where it was and delted that folder.I had that back in the spirng.]

  • This doesn't work if you stop the service (8 digit random number) from task manager! Not on Vista anyway !

  • This doesn't work if you stop service from the 8 digit number from task manager !

  • i cant find the folder options its not there any help?

  • @haz1510 Go to control panel and click classic view, then find Folder Options, Then follow the steps in the video.

  • where do I find the 8 digit numbers?

  • @shannan2000 Its somewhere in your computer but if you cant find it I recommend downloading Malwarebytes. Its for free, Once you have downloaded it, run a full scan on your Local Hard Drive. But if you cant download it then use system restore.

  • @shannan2000 Just go in safe mode, right click on the security tool shortcut, click properties then click locate target or something like that. Now u have the destination of the real files, delete them and the shortcut and then empty the trash. You're Done!

    :-)

  • hi. when i go to my computer and click on users where should the 8 digit number be found

  • @desymurphy it should be found under your name but if you cant find it try and seach it around the folder. Yours might be placed in a different folder so if you cant find it I recommend downloading Malwarebytes. Search it on Google and download it for free. Then run a full scan on your Local Hard Drive.

  • Hey guys, i have renamed both of the files, but when i try to delete them it says i need permission to do so.. any ideas?

  • @Rpats69 You might need Admin but if you dont then contact your administrator

  • 1. go to My Documents.

    2. then type C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data. In the Search bar.3. then look through the folders until you come across a folder that has that stupid blue security tool shield icon. Rename the file inside the folder and the folder it self.

4Restart the computer. Then go to that file again using My documents and the link. Delete the file then the folder and finally find the desktop shortcut and delete that too. After that empty the recycle bin.
