@Celtic450 probably not. He still has seymore with him. Abdallah means Servent of Allah. so basically its not a name, rather a designation he chose with his name.

In fact, no one has to change their name. The Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم‎ rarely changed people's names when they became Muslim in Arabia, it was only changed if their name had a bad meaning, for example 'fire', or the name of the one of the gods that they worshiped.

I chose to change it because the new name is more befitting to who I am.
