Why are they even talking about Alex having custody of her kids? She's an acutely unfit mother, for God's sake! She'll be extremely fortunate if she can even GET sober. She'll be even luckier if she can then STAY sober. Then and only then should she be evaluated to see if she can actually be a mother. This addict will most likely die from her addiction. Her safety net makes sure she keeps on going without bottoming out. There's only one way to get sober and this ain't it. Sorry. Not even close.

Dr Phil is not doing the world a favor by glamorizing her addiction. This shouldn't be about ratings, it should be about saving her life. They don't show her stoned, vomiting, having sex for money, hung over, withdrawing, copping, remorseful, or any of the other horrid states an addict goes through. Birth control is free if you go to planned parenthood. An excuse for failure to use birth control should NEVER be "I can't afford it." Not only will they provide a person with birth control, they will also give free condoms, which if used in conjunction with another form of birth control, pretty much assures that one won't get pregnant. I went to school w/ Alex and she has changed soo much. Back in High School days she was smart, beautiful and cared more about her son more then anything. Her Nathan was her life and now she has changed soo much. To be honest I think Chris should get custody of Leila, he cares soo much about his daughter I think the accusations about him beating her and what not are false now if they said she beat him I would efinately believe that. This whole situation is just a mess.

She keeps having babies and doing whatever because she can and because people will clean up her messes. Cannot afford birth control but can afford another kid! yeah right.
