  • hey will, i really love your style of guitar playing, but it's always impossible for me to figure out what you're playing. I'm just wondering how did you get started in playing the delta blues style the way you do, like who did you listen to and learn from?

  • @TedEdFred21 (this is the guy in the vid, just on my other account) I listened to a fair amount of Robert Johnson and Son House, but as far as technical influences, check out Guy Forsyth (Hometown Boy is a good bluesy tune), Eric Sardinas (his version of As the Crow Flies is fantastic), and Joe Bonamassa (Down by the River, another great tune). Also, check out more hill-country esque artists like Seasick Steve, The Black Keys, and RL Burnside (a good album for RL would be Burnside on Burnside)
