No I meant PSB original...the pop form...actually this song goes back to Elvis Presley earlier than Brenda Lee...Disregarding music types, PSB's AOMM is one of the rare covers that can compete (and surpass depending on the mood) the original...

Sadly, you are incorrect! Brenda Lee sung the song first in 1972. I believe Elvis did it after that. As good as PSB's version is, espcially the version on Introspective, it is still a world apart from Elvis' version. But, I dod agree; it is very hard for cover versions to be better than originals.
