heyy i have an urgent question- when i import my footage into Mocha it comes out black (nothing comes up just a black canvas).. why is this happening??!
Very good videos. But I have a question: Why does the image is so shaky and distorted. I mean, the building should have been straight, instead it looks so windy. What camera have you used? It is very strange distorsion for a professional camera.
This distortion is present in fast moving / shaky images with most video-capable DSLR's like the Canon 7d or 5d. In my case I used the 5d, but keep in mind it didn't have the best possible lens for shooting video, and I was travelling in a car on a highway, so that could explain a few things.
I would suggest staying away from extremely shaky camera moves when using the 5d or 7d, but the quality that these camera provide more than makes up for that in my opinion.
I have a Leica compact camera, I also need to make pictures and videos, video function is HD, but even when I have very shaky scenes, only motion blur I've got., not distorsions of any king, hopefully. Well, after two weeks ago I don't trust Canon anymore ...
you can go under preferences and set it to windowed. go to file, preferences, and then under the systems tab there is an option for fullscreen or windowed. select windowed and hit ok. also you can just hit alt+tab if you are using windows to select a different program.
Man, I really liked the tutorial! Wish I had known about mocha before, though. Would have saved me a lot of work trying to correct the point track (most of the time unsuccessfully). Great tool!
yeah I hadn't heard of it until my VFX Lecturer told us about it, lol. Adobe should make it more well known to After Effects cs4 users. It's simply amazing...
good job....ask u...what twin building is that?

Im running in windows, and i cant find where mocha is installed :/
I installed AE CS4 and along with it, they were installed some other applications too, but mocha is nowhere. At least i cant find it lol.
Is it in the installation folder of the AE or somewhere else?
I would appreciate some help, thanks

@svanjaproductions To me it seemed to be more effective for this tutorial, showing how good mocha is.
