  • can i have your other capos?

  • what about the shubb one?

  • i will buy one at guitar center tomorrow

  • useful. This product will probably start a trend.

  • Hi!

It adjusts the downward force applied to the strings. If your capo works then you don't need this one. In my experience most capos sharpen the whole guitar due to too much force on the strings. Reducing this so that it's just enough to cleanly fret the strings but not sharpen the whole guitar can really help. Of course, a sharpened capo'd guitar may be in tune with itself, but all sharp. If you have a chromatic tuner, check the tuning when the capo is on, and then you'll know.

  • What does the adjuster part of that do? I never saw a need to do anything like that with a capo... a regular one always seemed fine. What does it do exactly?
