i love patti shes grown up and all but shes still a punk til death we need that in our generation. im reading her book and she seems so much more real in her youth than any one ive ever known. if i could end up like her i d die happy.
when I hear patti talking or singing it makes me want to sit on the floor of my tiny room and to write furiously. She's the reason I started to read and write poetry when I was 13 and I can't get enough of it. I'm french but I bless america for all the great poets and musiciens that you have over there. From thoreau to Bob Dylan.
Patti is a music icon, I love everything she's saying. I'm currently doing a dedication to her on my zine. She's so inspiring.
I'm 14 and none of my friends even know who she is. I get pissed because when I look around, I don't like anything I see in modern society that's directed towards me. I'm urging young fans of music, art and literature to get out there and get pissed off with me. We have to at least try to take the world back.
Patti says it perfectly about how today's youth is being raised.
