i just bought a magnaflow muffler for my 1999 gmc 4.8 L. and the muffler sounds like a stock one. do you think the cold air intake would make it a bit louder??

@mudmanic NO, it actually makes it quieter. I dunno why, but the pros have all told me that. Same theory as a supercharger.

@mudmanic i put a magnaflow on my 2000 and sierra 4.8l and its quiet, too quiet for me, so i took off my cats, and it made it a little bit louder. i wanna get it true dualed, no cats, flowmaster 10series.

thats a nice exhaust. Im trying to look for one for my truck. it has flowmaster right now. im not sure if i should get flowmaster again or dynomax and magnaflow.

@ChevyZ71djd I'm happy with the exhaust thats for sure, however i do enjoy dynomax and have relatives who have those on their chevys, theyre just too expensive now. But go with either magnaflow or dynomax. Youll get performance out of both of them and theyre good quality and you wont be dissapointed, but you WILL get heads to turn at you. lol thanks for the comment

I have a 2006 Suburban LT with the 5.3L Flex V8. I have added the K&N Cold Air Intake, a Fitch Fuel Catalyst, Pulstar plugs, a 3" Magnaflow Cat-back is being added tomorrow and I just picked up my Hypertech Max Energy programmer today. Once I get it tuned in right I will post a video for you. Nice burnout by the way...what's your 1/4 speed?

You should have bought a MAP sytem instead of a chip. If a MAP system gets in the hands of some car genious, it'll out do any chip. (cept for maybe diesel)
