It is true with any country that lets clergy run it. It can by any religion, Christianity, Buddhism, Zoroastrianism etc. The moment clergy comes to power the country is screwed. Turkey is not run by clergy thus the country is advanced and democratic. Iran is run buy it and thus has problems.

Uzbeks are Turkic people. Their language sounds Turkish. I'm an Azeri from Iran and I can understand it very well. I love their music. As to being Russian, they are not.
