Hey i have a YJ. i had purchased it with a 4" suspension lift already installed. After about a month i started to break u joints at the rear diff. I recently installed a SYE kit along with the cv driveshaft, and after about 2 weeks i broke the strap bolts for the u joint. I am going to try switching at the diff yoke to one that uses u bolts instead of straps, any other suggestions?

hey, i have a yj and also have the spacers on my trany skid plate; if i put a sye on my transfer case can i take out these spacers? thanks

Holy crap cody, I've been subscribing to WranglerStar/WranglerBarn for a LONG time, I never knew about this channel, and never made the wrangler connection LOL. Been a Jeep guy all my life, current is a 05 LJ with 4" lift and 33" BFG KM2's. Getting ready to do the SYE kit soon.

Hey can you install a SYE kit if you only have a shackle lift? I am just wondering because I broke my drive shaft today on a failed ujoint. It sheared the factory output shaft in the transfer case. I am considering buying a n SYE kit to replace everything but wasnt sure if it wouldnt would cause problems because I have probably 1.5" of lift tops with shackles. I do plan to lift later so I figured I would just get the SYE over with.

@SamuraiCommando if you are only running 1.5 inches of lift you might just need new u joint and output these kits are a waist of precious money unless you want the bigger 4-5 inch lifts
