  • the best lineup they ever had was with fred and rubano.....adam and fred together created eargasim's to listen to!

  • Comment removed

  • this is one of the best versions of this song

  • It's too hard to pick a favorite/best album...but New Again is hands down the worst.

  • @bigbendewolfe To each their own... New Again might be my favorite!

  • jesus christ, he does so much justice to Fred's parts in the song

  • Sorry but John is a better lead singer

  • thumbs up if you are using the playlist

  • Look at Adam's Aragorn lookin' ass :P

  • Fred, y u no cum bak?

    Y!?!

  • I used to bump this everyday to work.... Then i got fired... You see?

  • whatheheck New Again was a great record

  • this whole set at orensanz is awesome

  • Matt Fazzi=Mark Sanchez's long lost brother?

  • Matt Fazzi most certainly has his own band.. Happy Body, Slow Brain. Maybe they're not big but I saw them last year at a small club and they sounded great and very original.

  • @ontherunhome I mean, musically it's a cool concept..

  • @ontherunhome No, I agree that Fazzi is a better singer... And even though Fazzi isn't as well know as John or Fred, think about this... The Color of Fred didn't do well, neither does Terrible Things. Freddie had arranged far better songs tho, i do agree. WYWTB and Louder Now are some of the most dynamic albums ever. And John helped write TBS's best loved and most powerful lyrics...

But my point is Fazzi did great things for TBS, it's too bad they didn't sell more... Carpathia is one of my favs

  • adam right now kinda reminds me of ashton kutcher in 2 an a hlf

  • These guys are fer sure the most legit and talented band

  • Fazzi does a good job singing a song Fred wrote, so pros to him. But Fred forever!!!!!!

  • i stopped listening to them after this album, Where you want to be, i saw them live in their best years, I'm glad they got together, they still sound good, remind me of my years in school, girlfriends, all of that. I have to say one thing tho, somebody tell adam he's fat!

  • such an amazing performance for a bad ass song. "where you want to be" still stands as my personal favorite TBS album. i literally listen to it every day still after all these years. i do alot of driving for work and i have all their albums, but this one gets the most play time by far

  • they were most tight w/ fazzi performance wise.

  • john Nolan fo life yo lol

  • some kinda cool about being a fairly new fan is i dont have to deal with the john and fazzi thing. it's all good under the hood!

  • eddie actually is a pretty good guitarist and song writer.

  • One person was having such a spectacular time jamming out to this they missed the like button.

  • All of you need to get over it, if you hate the damn line up of the band so much don't listen to their music.

  • Such a beautiful song to hear live. I'm glad I got to last night!

  • I actually prefer John. One reason, Adam and John seem to hit off better than Matt or Fred did. Along with tunes like Best Places to Be A Mom/El Paso/Call Me In The Morning. I want more John.....

  • @dearLOVEwritten But those songs just weren't the old TBS.. Louder now I think sum up the band, but most of the new album just changes their style..

  • I think John Nolan is still Adam's better half

  • Missing a snare hit at 1:35? Whats up with that.

  • @k4rma now that was actually weird

  • @AllGhostwritten

fair enough, i guess that makes sense. i'm just not used to it

  • adams fat

  • Is this available on DVD?

  • why is adam sooooo fat??

  • @2TenProductions Marriage... kids... he's always had his chubby phases (this is another one). He's just a human being, and when he tours alot and sweats alot, he gets thinner than when he's at home for months, etc.

  • Why didn't fazzi do more singing on new again? Dude has got some pipes.

  • There's so much awesome music to be found from listening to Taking Back Sunday- The Color Fred, Terrible Things, Breaking Pangaea, Straylight Run, Brand New, Happy Body Slow Brain and John's solo stuff. It's all awesome.

  • Matts a better bassist than people give him credit for.

  • that guy matt just never messes up

  • @dladelph Check out his new band! It's called Happy Body Slow Brain, Isaac is also in it

  • Adam looks fat

  • 10 FUCKING DAYS! first band i ever saw live YEARS ago im talking and there finally back in the uk i'm unbelivable excited

  • @0MakeMeWannaDie0 Roundhouse?

  • @crossie2003 no it was suppose to be 02 acadamy in brum but they postponed till sept (Y)

  • Matt Fazzi is unbelievable throughout this whole live session DVD, sad to see him go!

  • at like 3 min it looks like adam has to shit. lol. Old tbs is way better

  • Did adam get fat?

  • @k0rn102 I noticed that too. It might just be all the clothes and shit he's wearing haha but it looks like it

  • I'm sorry it took me so long, I'm sorry it took me so long to watch this video.

  • shit isaac looks totally different now...

  • out of curiosity (and probably asked a bunch of times) but who is that black guy? i saw TBS open for Blink 182, and he was playing then too. Wikipedia doesn't say anything (as far as i can see) about a touring guitarist so...

  • @jesusfreak777316 His name is Issac. He was the touring guitarist for TBS, but now he's in Happy Body Slow Brain with Fazzi.

  • Fazzi is the most talented second vocalist they've had but he helped write the worst album. What a shame.

  • @iDrownKittns New Again was a great album... Did you listen to Swing and Everything Must Go?

Louder Now was their worst album. Too mainstream to me, although that in it self did have a couple of really good songs. WYWTB was their best album ever, TAYF coming in close at second.

  • @sk8brder40 Im going to have to respectfully disagree. New again was dreary and boring.

Other albums were all full of energy and grit. louder now is a good album in my opinion.

  • @iDrownKittns I can definitely see your point! I'm hoping their new album is good. I'm not a fan of "El Paso" but "Best Places to be a Mom" sounds promising!

  • @iDrownKittns New again? I actually really liked that..

  • @iDrownKittns if you're talking about new again then i completely disagree, it's a fantastic album. every album they have is brilliant

  • @beatnikbenny AMEN TO THAT!

  • @beatnikbenny i agree big time. all five albums are really really really damn good. love them all. hate all the dislikes that new again got. its a hell of an album.

  • @beatnikbenny

New Again is definitely their worst album. It just goes to show amazing all of their albums are though.

  • @Sodiumthan i could not disagree more. i would prob put new again ahead of louder now, and absolutely ahead of their most recent self-titled.

  • @beatnikbenny Dude I love TBS, but their most recent album BLOWS. No argument.

  • @iDrownKittns

    Very well said, sir/madam.

    Very well said.

  • @iDrownKittns i actually really liked new again. it just took me about 2 years to do so

  • @iDrownKittns I'm interested to know why you think Fazzi is a better and more talented second vocalist over Fred. Are you strictly speaking singing ability? In which case I'll agree with you. But in terms of playing ability and chemistry with Adam, I'd personally pick Fred over Fazzi hands down.

  • @YourEpic Fazzi is a better singer. However Fred has a better tone for slightly rockier music and more grit which helps. I much prefer how he sounds for TBS. And I agree with your point.

  • @iDrownKittns your wrong on both. john and freddie are both allot more talented then him. where are his solo works? john and fred have both made it after tbs. and are brilliant frontman. im not taking anything away from fazzi he is good, but to think he is better then either john or fred is just crazy. when he makes music to where he is lead. then we'll see.

  • @iDrownKittns most of the album was written it was kind of like the draft before the final when Fazzi came in. He did a good job with what he was given though. He likes to use colorful chords. And Matt is the best bassist they ever had

  • Tell you where I want to be... At this gig! Oh well, Reading 2011 will suffice =)

  • That girl was completely feeling it at 3:15

  • @simensays LOL

  • if this was prerecorded, adam's voice would've been so much better. think about that

  • thumbs up for adam's chubchub

  • I disliked this to piss everyone off:)

  • @branden962 You are my hero xD

  • well... this was flawless.

  • Awesome version, but at 1:34 wtf? I hear three snare hits, and that's not what I saw....

  • @texasaggie2012 pre-recorded.

  • @MisterWrightBlogs it wasn't pre-recorded.

  • @candicantz i meant they could've edited the video, they pretty much had to since it's a live dvd.

  • @texasaggie2012

when the video editting crew aligned the video with the audio from this live concert. They probably thought that clip was to that part. Happens all the time.

  • <3

  • I also want to say, complaining about different aspects.. It's dumb.. No matter the lineup, they are an amazing band with musical talent unseen often. When I think musically gifted and talented band, I think of this band. The ability for them to put together the number of albums they have and still grow through each one is what makes a band. Not trying to impress people with how bad-ass the music is. They are, in fact, beautiful in my eyes. No matter what the lineup is.

  • The New Again line up of TBS with Fazzi is the best they have ever been. They are perfect with him and the songs are their best to date. Gonna miss Fazzi and Rubano. Hopefully the original line up can deliver again.

  • matt rubano always reminded me so much of a brown haired seth green.. anyone feelin me ?

  • i think fazzi and fred should work together. not like start a new band just a few songs. i think that'd be pretty awesome. they're both really good writers and singers.

  • All that bitching about john fred and fazzi all the time! All three are awesome musicians, just with different style. And they've got one thing in common: all three are better at guitar than eddy and better at singing than adam. No ones ever complaining about those two...

  • @MrToizer amen man

  • @MrToizer I have to say, yes they may be better singers in a technical sense. But to say there is something to complain about with Adams voice is upsetting. It is quite possibly one of the most unique voices that is hard to find. He sings with more heart than any other singer I've heard. EMOTIONS! Also, Eddie is a better rhythm guitarist. That is why is the rhythm guitarist. I'm tired of rhythm guitarists getting called less of a guitarist because of their skills elsewhere. Think about it

  • @MrToizer You do know that everything we've heard live from Fazzi has been edited. Here, in Live From Orensanz, all vocalists were altered and pitched corrected. The same on the Bamboozle album. Fazzi's voice has better pitch, as well as consistency, but he doesn't have the passion, the power, and the diversities of Adam voice.

It's apples and oranges. Pick and choose.

  • @YourEpic Word.

  • @XSasuken22X i keep them glued to my chest

  • @TheBlink1826969 even better

  • i think he trips at 3.27 if you look close poor bugger

  • fazzi straight killing it in this song. wish they let him do more

  • EXCELLENT. this band is amazing

  • crying.

  • I loved new again why does everyone hate it i bought it and i'm glad they even made an album in 2009 i love every song by taking back sunday

  • @Judirox i agree. it isn't a bad album be any means. Its just different. One thing love about TBS is there ability for their sound to change without the quality of music changing much. My fav album (of any artist ever) is tell all your friends, but i love their other albums too

  • matt fazzi is hands down the best all-around musician this band has ever seen

  • i liked new again? im not sure why others didnt . its much better than the 2nd cd.

  • Everyone has their opinion of what version of TBS was the best. But I have loved them all. Especially this version. It didn't last very long but a great record and these sessions came from it. It's all music. It's all great. It'll always be around.

  • :-o!!! *rushes out to buy this dvd*

  • Hmm, I wonder if Fred will watch this and think, I can sing better then him.

  • if you guys wanna hear an awesome vocal cameo from Adam, check out the song "Where the Heart Is" by a band called The Status.

  • dudes, fazzi's voice is soooooooooooooo good on this track

  • omg travis mccoy on the guitar

  • @ginotez nope, I thought so too, but it's some guy named Isaac Bolivar

  • Isaac's fro = SICK.

  • @hbsbmusic yes it is. Gotta rep that fro to the fullest extent!! :D

  • honestly i think their acoustic stuff is even better than their originals

  • Fazzi vox = awesome

  • From 2:55 and on is mind blowing makes me cry!

    No homo!

  • Absolutely loved Fazzi's vocals on this one. He was a great singer and it's a shame that TBS didn't take advantage of his talents. Although I am bummed the matt's are gone, I'm excited to hear the TAYF lineup, and to see how they've matured.

On the bright side, Happy Body Slow Brain is the new band Fazzi is in, and they're also incredible. Highly recommend checking them out if you've got time. Probably wouldn't have come about if Nolan and Cooper didn't rejoin, so think of it as a win-win.

  • I find it funny that it did take Adam long to get there, and the first line is "im sorry it took me so long" lol XD Unless they did that on purpose...than I feel stupid :(....

  • I think Fazzi is one of the best parts of this video. As much as I like the original line-up being back together, I'll miss both the Matt's making music.

  • uhhhhh Fazzi was great and all but nothing will beat the dream team of all line ups, which includes John Nolan and Shaun Cooper.

Although I will admit, Matt Rubano was the shit.

  • @XsincerelyXmeX1 you're gay sarah

  • @zmoney682 no, youre gay. it is the dream team. granted they kicked ass with Rubano.. but I remember back when the shit was raw. cant wait

  • @CSRAugusta Dude. Do you really expect another album that sounds like Tell All Your Friends? Look. All you nolan-cooper fans, dont keep your hopes up. Taking Back Sunday is not the horny teenagers, who would write about relationships. Plus, the producer, is Eric Valentine. The same one who made Louder Now. So please shut up about your fantasies.. you will not see an "old tbs" those days are long gone.

  • @TheFridayDrive I understand that. all Im saying is, when TBS first came about for us.. thats who it was... Its a given theyre not going to sound like 'tell all your friends'...

dont want that anyways. I want to hear them step it up from previous TBS albums. Louder Now kicked ass anyways my friend... you got a little too serious...

  • @CSRAugusta No, I'm not a bit serious. You just called someone gay. Offensive much sir?

  • uhhhhhh fazzi was great and all but lets be real nothing will beat the dream team of a line up, which includes John Nolan and Shaun Cooper.

I will be real though, Matt Rubano was the shit.

  • Matt Fazzi is an AMAZING back up singer. God.

  • @CTOWNgoesHARD I totally agree. I like him better than Fred and John. His voice contrasts Adam's the best.

  • @ThePenguist Fred FTW

  • fuck fazzi, number one choice: fred number two: john

  • Zero dislikes? Hm, I wonder why? /sarcasm

  • that not fred

  • this is amazing, adam still has his touch.i'm so glad fred's gone. he over did it sometimes.

  • Thumbs up if you paint your sins on the ceiling :)

  • @XSasuken22X i dont know wtf that means but if it means this songs is gorgeous fuck yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • @DGKALLDAY828 lol its part of the lyrics to the song around 2:50.

  • @XSasuken22X i knew that ive been listening to this band forever broooo

  • Fazzis voice is so good! Watching their videos from Orensanz brings me back to a time in their careers right before Nolan left the band. I think they still have that band in them. I won't give up on tbs yet because they are the reason I listen to a lot of the music I do today. When I was 13/14 years old their mushy sappy teen lyrics still applied to me, but they were good days. Please make a big come back tbs!

  • why has fazzi left?

  • @KevinDaos Fazzi and Rubano left. They decided on having a "Tell All Your Friends reunion"

  • I like how this video has 0 dislikes because Taking Back sunday is amazing :D

  • Who Is The Puertorican lookin guy?

  • @Irishkittynips123 damn haha he's the guy that started the band.

  • @CCHSxRBx25 lol

  • @mdl55 do you mean thats his next project/band, or that i'm happy with him because i'm stupid?

  • never knew fazzi was such a great singer.....why the hell was his voice not present in new again maybe it wouldnt have sucked so much then....oh well happy body slow brain is amazing....

  • @PatHaynes1 New Again has some really good songs on it, but I do agree on the fact that it would've been better if fazzi included his two cents (probably did music-wise). But, being the fact they made quite a change on that album, the least they could've done would to put some of fazzi's vocals on some of the tracks.

  • @PatHaynes1 Well, I disagree with New Again being a bad album. It was different from their stuff, DEFINITELY, but so different that it's hard to really compare it to their old albums. For what it was, it's a great CD. I do agree that Fazzi is an AMAZING singer and should have been present on the album for sure. According to Fazzi on his formspring, I believe, the label didn't like his voice and didn't think it suited it (for reasons I will never understand.)

  • @sk8brder40 since posting that, ive listened to NA a lot more and take back my comment...theres some great stuff on there...but i dont think they ever should have brought fazzi in...WAY too different of styles

  • @PatHaynes1 That's true, however, have you listened to their new song "El Paso"? ... Not a thing like them... and not very good (in my opinion)

  • @sk8brder40 I like it a lot.

  • I think Fazzi should go solo now that hes out of tbs because I love his voice!!!

  • awsome!

  • Wow, Fazzi is the man. I wonder what he'll do next, cause he's really good. i'm kinda excited.

  • @mrreuben69 happy body slow mind

  • i do like nolan the best but fazzi is really showing what should have happened on new again here. i do wish rubano was still around though. he's a beast on bass and plays with his fingers:)

  • @madl55 What are you talking about. HE IS STILL THERE! RIGHT THERE 1:22

  • @urbanecho What are you talking about are you serious I meant now today. Where is Rubano going music wise. He is no longer in TBS that is way I'm referring to not the video. Wow hahaha

  • I don't care what anyone says, Fazzi does an amazing job. I saw TBS live last fall with Fazzi, and he has huge energy live, a great voice, and talent on the guitar. And this video proves it! I'd like this 100 times if I could.

  • really upset that both the matt's are gone but am real excited the original tbs are back together. we still have happy body slow mind but were is the other matt going? he's a great bass player.

love how taking back sunday came full cirlcle lol

  • is the guy singing with fazzi at the start related to adam in anyway, they look kinda similar face wise

  • rubano=best bassist

i agree no john no taking back sunday today but fred was a million times better than fazzi
