  • @confusedmatthew Maybe their penises where bit by the zombies, and their penises are zombies so they must obey their phallus!

  • your point isn't valid. after all, they are well-protected, with plenty of supplies. they're MEN. they WOULD be itching for sex after 1-2 weeks, "I GUARANTEE YOU".

  • rofl 'it's been a month'

  • they aren´t zombies...

  • It isn't a matter of how much or how little time has passed. It's a matter of the world ending and everything gone to sh-t. As far as the soldiers knew, the majority of people on Earth have died by then and they were the last group remaining. At any second, something could go wrong and they could be next to die. It's about insane, desperate men in an insane and desperate situation. Try giving it a little more thought next time rather than making an argument for the sake of arguing. Hurr durr.

  • @UneedaMedicalSupply I'll bite (no pun intended). Sure, the situation is bleak. As far as the soldiers know, maybe the whole world has gone to crap. EVEN SO, what's more pressing...survival and co-operation, or fucking sexual slavery? Is there no other way to get sex than to force these women into it? How about, you know, some honest to goodness courtship? After all, women want sex too. "Insane, desperate men"...insane and desperate enough to put sex ahead of survival?

  • "you got flesh eating, track running zombies"

  • To be fair the fear may override the thought of having sex.

  • sex is sex. just take it

  • They don't eat flesh in this film by the way. They just wanna infect!

  • is "raping a woman" a "good fuck" ?

  • hahaha thats funny dude nice vid. i've never seen the movie

  • it hasnt been a month you moron, its '28 days' from the time jim awakens. so its assumed that its... a little more than a month... why dont u review an american zombie film. this film out does all of them.

  • @hgkwbsx7 True. Also, put yourself into a war zone situation like this with death all around, one of things that goes right through the roof is the libido. These guys would be desparate to sow their seed, not because of 'repopulating the earth but ssimply because they are loney and don't want to die before having some nnice female intimacy aka 'a good fuck'.

  • @PhillipFawcettPiano very true!

  • i agree. the ending was really stupid

  • the heli crashed in the end, the kid was immune to the virus.

  • I understand what he is saying. And what I have to say, is that it is pathetic for all of them, killing eachother, when there are millions of other people around them who are homicidal maniacs. Why doesn't Jim use his violence on the infected, instead of some of the only survivors in the entire country. And of course, it's utterly ridiculous that the soldiers are trying to rape the women, when there is already enough suffering outside of the mansion. In my mind, everyone here us stupid.

  • This gentleman has a point

  • These aren't zombies, they're the Infected.

I assume that the "Rage Virus" is a combination of Rabies and Ebola.

    Why?

Rabies is very contagious and makes the infected aggressive and freaky shit bro.

Now, Ebola is the shit that makes them throw up blood and stuff. Dear all scientists - Don't get any ideas. Please. Please. PLEASE.

  • Military commanders have been using prostitutes to raize the moral of their troops for thousands of years. I know it seems like an odd concept now days but I guess a thing like that would be one of the only things to look forward to in a situation like that.

    ...but hey!

  • 0:20

    Trust me, I'm a doctor

  • They aren't zombies.

  • trust an American to blaH BLSHBOADOPJFOEIFRJOPQWEIRJWOPRIHJ2390Y82390R8Y9023R8Y9038RGH[9awo;bc avkrbUIOFRAOH]

  • It's a movie! movies compress time and character for the sake of dramatic effect and storyline. If all you're complaining about is the time it took for humans to devolve, then I think you're missing one of the greatest powers of film. Nobody wants to watch 59 days later or 1000 days later, because let's face it, Jim would've encountered the same zombies over and over on his road trip. This movie is real to the human condition, not time.

  • They're humans. So you can expect anything from them...

  • Suspension of Disbelief it's the concept meaning "sit down, shutup and just enjoy the movie!" and the "zombies" AREN'T EATING ANYTHING, They're not even zombies, it's rage, this is why they STARVED.

  • well you gotta think that the soldiers are probably the only ones left, the commanding officer probably promised them women to stop them from deserting or suicide. and im pretty sure they were on the verge of losing there minds stuck in a mansion while chaos was happening all around them. and im pretty damn sure they'd been at the checkpoint longer than 2 weeks.........

  • man that was hilarious...!

  • its a cult film, your going to expect holes in the plot, ive seen far worse plot holes in mega budget Hollywood films than this one. im not even sure there is anything wrong with this scene.

  • they aint zombies mate they are infected with rage, there is a big difference, suck as they are not dead :)

  • Oh and P.S a MONTH of isolation in a savage, desolate world with the constant reminder of your own mortality at your every breath is pretty daunting. So yes, thoughts of the future will occur and cabin fever/occult thinking would occur, much like in Lord of the Flies.

  • Its a story. Why do people feel the need to rip the shit out of classics. Just stop.

  • the part where freaky black guy with the fiery red eyes peeps through the window toward the end (after the one guy - Jim?) releases him scared me so much I thought I might poo my pants in the theatre! Fortunately, I was able to keep some semblance of control.

  • That wasn't really the ending but whatever.

The bigger question I have is, why start trying to repopulate when the zombies are still out there? Why not wait till there is no longer a danger of being infected before starting to repopulate?

This film felt more realistic than I am Legend, but it wasn't as gripping.

  • how about we lock you up for a while with a bunch of dudes, NO GIRLS and see how horny you get...i'd say if you would of gave those guys in the movie a couple more weeks they would of probably went out and raped the zombies chicks! lol

  • You really took the man seriously when he promised his men 'women' in order to "repopulate society"? Civilisation has broken down; there are no more laws, tribalism's developed, and they're all MEN. Four weeks could be like four months considering everything that's going on in the film, maybe even years. If it's possible you're amongst the last human alive in the world, how would you react when you saw a woman? We use the word 'carnal': nobody thinks, they act on their primal urges. Twat.

  • they've been soldiers longer than a month

  • i thought the movie ending was bad too.i mean why do they dress the girls up in dresses? wtf

  • lol they where russians

  • Sounds like someone didn't understand the movie :/

Try rewatching the dinner scene again.

  • Is that the best you can do? In the context of their perceived invincibility, their guns, their bunker mentality, it made more sense to me. Why they would bother with all the dress up other than to make a symbolic point is not realistic.

    Peace,

    Tex Shelters

  • whiny fat asshole wah wah so unrealistic wah wah i dont like girls weah weah this movie is stupid wwwwwaaaah i get light headed when i stand up weeeaah

  • call it panic mate!

  • 'when did you promise them women, two weeks ago?' LOL

  • u prick

  • The so called cunt is basically cannibalistic government.

  • Well bear in mind that they felt there was no hope because the outside world convinced England that everywhere else was infected so that the infection could be more easily contained, so that's why little hope was found. The soldier who was shot explained how he knew the rest of the world was fine.

  • yeah you probably like the American endings of these kinds of movies where they like blow everything up from a motorcycle or something.

  • lolz! so right!

  • you have obviously never met british squaddies. haha enough said

  • 28 days later infection, survival chance, 15 percent, zombie apocalypse, survival chance 80 percent

  • I guess once a zombie apocalypse hits the military thinks "hmmm...I think we need some women! lets completely ignore the zombies outside and focus on women! maybe they will go away!" I thought the military was so stupid in this movie lol it's like Shane Walsh on The Walking Dead "Maybe if I keep hitting on my best friend's wife the zombies will all die."

  • it IS very realistic: the stressful conditions would make them MORE excited and beastial, and it has fing OBVIOUSLY been more than a month since the soldiers even saw a woman, a la WW1. it was "cult mentality" because ONE horny asshole promised his group happiness in the form of sex, he promised them peace, and so they followed suit, getting horny just like their leader, forming a "fuck-women-now" cult. Sensible. dumbass aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

  • @facecheek I thought Jim's decision to go back for them was very moving. I think he knew it would be suicide, but could not go on living knowing that he did nothing.. It took a great deal of balls for him to do what he did. I wonder if situations like that have every really unfolded the same way. He was just a normal guy. If it were up to me, he would get the Congretional Medal of Honor.

  • @facecheek I think it's not realistic at all. This is not a war, they were trying to "save and take care of the survivals" how they were supposed to do it rapping women? This was really stupid. I know that 1 in each 30 men are psycopats capable of rapping women, but in this situation, they wouldn't be abble to think about that. Stressful conditions does not excited people. Imagine extremely stressful situations like a bunch of zombies around. Rape is stupid anyways doesn't matter the situation.

  • @facecheek shut up. you'll be ready to kill and rape in just 4 weeks? that "IS very realistic"? idiot fanboy

  • Have YOU ever gone that long without a woman?

  • through the whole movie I was ok scared ya but I didn't jump till that face in the window thats when I almost screamed :(

  • Firstly, numb nuts... they are infected with Rage - they arent flesh eating zombies..If you watched the fucking movie you'd know this. Secondly yes after a month of isolation in a mansion you're trying to keep ahold of you probably Would go a little mad.

  • then again not all soldiers are convicted criminals so thats a poor retort, whats the percentage...i bet its really tiny! and i wasnt just saying american soldiers do that! its has happened wiv armies from all over the world ever since time has been recorded, learn to read

  • then again not all soldiers are convicted criminals so thats a poor retort, whats the percentage...i bet its really tiny!

  • @Vogel885 fuck you

  • im 12 and i like this movie.

  • I walked out of this film when it was in theaters. I remember it, and found it a bit too creepy for my liking.

  • It's a "month", not a "monTHE" Geez.

  • Some of the people defending this movie are giving it way more credit than it deserves. This isn't a treatise on human nature, it's a dumb zombie movie.

  • @labordayweekend infected not zombie

  • @blackoutcider How is it any different?

  • @labordayweekend zombies = reainimated corpses/ infected = people with disease

this was pretty much like cabin fever and the crazies.

  • @blackoutcider The point is there's absolutely no difference between the two in terms of function or story telling. You're just nitpicking my word choice.

  • @labordayweekend lol well it could be worse, im willing to let it be.

  • Matthew is correct.

This movie's second and third acts were retarded as hell.

  • these are army guys. dudes that are usually mentally unsound, surrounded by other dudes for a long time. depending on whatever they were doing before they might have even gone longer without pussy than just a month. So yeah it's actually really feasible for them to be raping the women.

  • from beginning to end the movie plays on this theme that uninfected human beings are just as scary as the infected. the climax of that theme is when you can't tell if jim is infected or not. he ends up being not infected, yet you are almost convinced he is through his brutality. one of the army guys says something like this before to foreshadow it. awesome ending if you ask me.

  • the point of the film isnt that it has been a month since it all started

  • has anyone notice that the solders in this movie are like Capt. Rhodes and his team from Day of the Dead

  • they arent zombies, they're infected with rage

  • @3113cj AAHHHH FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!! I'M GONNA BITE YA!

  • @3113cj I know right everyone calles them zombies.

  • dress them like dulls...

  • I know that after a month I would be raping the trees out in the forest. Man must procreate, it is in that big book god wrote.

  • think outside the box confused matthew, what the most liked comment sezzz

  • The point is: I do believe that I can survive 28 days without pussy, just like any other married man... and having zombies roaming outside my door doesn't really get me in the mood.

  • Comment removed

  • IF A ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE HAPPENED AND A HOT AFRICAN WOMAN CAME INTO MY HOUSE I WOULD WHIP OUT MY DICK AND CUM ALL OVER THE FLOOR!!!! IM SAVAGE RAAAARRRHHH!!!

  • maybe its because they dont have a month think about it man there are ton of problrms england is infected so there most probs low on ammo food fresh water fuel so there thats reasons why they did it in a month cause they knew they were gonna die soon anyway.

  • DOCTOR WHO!!!!!!! xD

  • moNTHA!

  • Well I must concur with you on that. Besides, in real life, it wouldn't have made a difference because all their depression came from the fact that their lives had gone down the garbage disposal...

  • dem niggas wanted a nut!!

  • @AmyEliseRay you make me sick. You don't deserve to be British saying our soldiers rape women and shit I hope you get aids.

  • soldiers in real life extreme survival conditions DO rape women and children, it has been proven time and time again, such as 2nd world war, vietnam, kosovo etc, the list is endless. so yes i would say its NOT a crappy ending, its art imitating life

  • @kayzi17 then again america uses some convicts to let them cut down their penalty by serving in army... if you put criminals in hellish situation anything could happen

  • soldiers in real life extreme survival conditions DO rape women and children, it has been proven time and time again, such as 2nd world war, vietnam, kosovo etc, the list is endless.

  • I disagree.

A theme of the film and it's sequel is the ways that people respond to a horrific crisis. In some cases, it brings out their bravery and positive attributes, in other cases, they become just as inhuman as the zombies. Example: the scene where Cilian Murphy's character goes apeshit and kills one of the soldiers. In addition, everyone knows that brutal behaviour is a common amongst military units, as a way of group bonding but also as a response to the extreme pressures of war.

  • They dont really want to repopulate theyre just sick

  • if you didnt like it mr american then dont watch british INFECTED(they arent zombies) films anymore, the british enjoy watching the army try to rape the women and then be ripped to bits or eaten and it seemed like a good ending because both enemies in the film died, the infected and the army so please re-think or re-watch. Good day :)

  • EXCEPT THE ZOMBIE'S WEREN'T EATING THEM!! They had the place on lock down. It's obvious you had a hard time noticing detail so I'll explain. Judging from the zombie raid that interrupts their meal, they were obviously quite casual in fending them off. That's where the boredom/hornyness stems. So maybe if they were in the same situation as Hannah and her dad in their apartment you would have a point. But that's not the case, so you're just a pretentious douchebag

  • I thought the ending was odd aswell, but horny soldiers make great enemies, so I found it very entertaining.

Was surprised to see an American talking about this movie, although the movie got a lot of attention, it is still a low budget British movie.

  • im pretty sure that the house was wayne rooney's

  • @HungaricusDominatus Survive for the sake of what? Tomorrow, a week, to what die of hunger of a zombie horde. They knew they were fucked, they might be able to survive but there was no end, no purpose to it at all. As for the rape it is that position of superiority and control that they are seeking by doing such. They have no control what so ever of the world around them, and the net of society is gone for them. Like countless accounts of solders during warfare they looked for a vice and control

  • I thought it stupid because you rape a women to make more population, then wait nine months for a baby and then in 2 weeks you'd probably be dead and eaten anyways. Fuck the raping shit. But yeah I get what it meant, humans are now your worst enemy, not the zombies. But still I'd grab a gun and shoot those soldiers. Screw being in a group.

  • @HungaricusDominatus Think people missed the point the movie was making. They are not "horny" rather consider your mental state if you had seen that happen in month. As well as having to come to terms with the fact that you are alive, but have no chance of leaving there, no chance of things ever returning to normal. The very threads of society, law, love, honour, duty all just vanished from the world around you. Women are and have been treated like this throughout history for far less reasons.

  • EXCEPT THE ZOMBIES ARE EATING THEEEEM..the end

    ROFLMFAO

  • XD ROFL!!!! Omg I loved your commentary!!!

  • Lol- very well said!

  • lol that funny

  • @HungaricusDominatus Pretty sure if an apocalyptic situation, no matter what, humans are your worst enemy. If there are no law to abide by, ugh yeah...because at that point humans become animals, and when humans only care about survival, then it's all about number#1. Think of it this way...if you locked yourself in your house with your dogs for weeks without feeding them, eventually they would try to eat you...

  • These "zombies" only got into the base was because Jim let them in and then all hell broke loose because Jim. Jim wouldn't have done that because if they treated them like a person.

  • Confused Matthew, you should review the movie. Not just the ending. And do the second movie as well. Would be very interesting.

  • Notice how each of the high rated comments have 28 likes

  • If you see after the movie ends (after the credit text) you can actually see that they never got to save him, they just left him at the hospital they rushed him to. I was watching it on TV and I still had the TV on and after the credit text I got really suprised.

  • Nice argument, but in a real life post apocalyptic situation such as this, an attitude like yours would get you killed fast. The animal nature would take over entirely.

  • yeah it was just a month, but in the movie, you saw how the infection had devastated the whole population, and also the army, there was no army, just 9 guys cornered in a house, the situation was very fucked up and they knew it, that's why they became desperate and even capable of raping, the OC's repopulation argument, was just a fancy excuse of the raping act..doesn't really matter if it was just 1 month, what matters is, how long it took for the infection to wipe out everything...

  • You're so funny

  • this was the normal ending

  • Well actually it's been longer than a month. When what's his face woke up in the beginning is when it had been a month. It took him a few weeks before he actually made it to the base.

  • The ending actually makes perfect sense. They are soldiers in a infected world with no control over there future or their lives. In most criminal rape cases the rape is about control not sex. Making them dress up reaffirms this point as it is another form of control. Besides if you look at history people have become much crazier in lesser circumstances in much less time than 28 days too...

  • Dude the zombie situation was under control by the army. They never had a breach of zombies from the outside. Sitting around for a month nothing to do you haven't had sex... then two hot women show up, suddenly masturbation just doesn't do it for you any more. c'mon dude soldiers have raped women in the country they were invading before. The ending took on a lord of the flies ish theme showing the downfall of civilization after just a month.

  • Well if the world was ending you'd be depressed too. possibly causing a decreased interest in sex.

  • Listen to what LukePhillips said, you definitely misunderstood this ending big time. It is trying to get the point across that, ultimately, the biggest enemy is us. You really put little thought into this movie.

  • @EmeraldIsleStar I guess. Although it seemed like the eating was implied when they had the one infected soldier chained up at the base in order to see how long it takes the infected to starve.

  • You underestimate the power of psychology on your thoughts. You might have heard of the experiments where a group of men labelled "cops" are put together with other men labelled "prisoners" and violence sets in really quickly. You think rationnally now, but in a situation of hopelessness you will not think about waiting for years, your intincts will drive over you and force you go instantly for what you want

  • Actually like this film. But the ending is a let down to the whole film.

  • its a movie movie with zombies not a zombie movie, thats what makes it so good

  • i never see the zombies eat someone, i thought its just rage, so its like an apocalypse where if you let them alone for like 1 year, then its back to normal, they just attack you not eat you

  • @Lincolnlogpoo They took a big ol' bite out of Selena's friend at the beginning at Jim's parents' house.

  • despite what i said, i still love the second half lol. Its almost comedy!! 9 crazy men running round a house after the women. Slumber party!!!! woo wooooo

  • I totally agree mate - the first half was perfect. it was epic. the second half was complete and utter bullshit. Like you said......when did he promise them women?....2 weeks ago perhaps - meaning that they were already thinking about repopulation of earth two weeks after the infection broke out. COME ON!!!. Even worse, Jim saw posters in London showing missing people. Surely this means that the infection hadnt completely spread across london for maybe a week after the infection broke out

  • EXCEPT THEY ARE EATING THEM...ah yes, Zombies, the undead man-eating beasts that supposedly have taken over the world...we have dismissed that claim -_-

  • An alternative reason for their behaviour is competition for the women between them. They believe that these are the last two women that they will ever see. There is no way that one of the guys is gonna be able to charm the woman enough that they become a couple, while the other guys just sit there and watch, craving for sex. They know it is inevitable that if that was the case, a huge fight would break out. Instead, they have all agreed to "share" the women (i agree, it is sick!) through rape.

  • duude its a movie.. get over it

  • I grow tired of people bringing up novels or experiments to get across their meaning. I know, these things can act as great examples, but when someone just has to mention them as they are attacking another perspective, it just makes that person look like a condescending asshole. Seriously people, consider that the person you are arguing with wasn't born yesterday, and has an intellectual capacity equal to yours. It would be nice to see a civil conversation on youtube someday...

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

  • You have really missed the point in the ending. Big time. The soldiers that want to rape the women create another enemy for the audience, the audience then realize that the infected are no longer there biggest enemy, but that the sheer brutality of the army are in fact more dangerous. This is was one of the best movie endings I have seen in my life. You seriously need to think about analysing film in the future. Good day

  • @LukePhillips1883 it's still arguably unrealistic even if it does make sense in plot terms

  • @LukePhillips1883 I think we all get the intention of showing that we are our own worst enemies ~ battlestar galactica esque. It's just it all seemed a little to contrived and all of a sudden... and a little over the top. The kind of behaviour would have to slowly develop with the girls there. id expect they'd probably try more subtle, not rapish advances at first.

It was a complete change of tune from the rest of the movie (of which was brilliant).

I feel the same way about Sunshine

  • @LukePhillips1883 I'm confused by this ending too. In a way I agree with Matt since I think people, even "stupid soldiers" are able to behave longer than a month. From a pure antagonistic, drama situation, introducing the soldiers was clever, but this ending was a bit untidy at bet. It was odd.

On the other way, there's no clue what people might do if they knew for sure there won't be any sanction, any consequences to their acts. The only figure of law is their officer, and he condones, so...

  • @LukePhillips1883 I'm fairly sure he got the point, he just didn't find it interesting -- probably because it wasn't. I wasn't remotely interested in an exploration of human evil. I don't find it scary. I wanted a horror movie not sophomoric exposition on human nature. The first 2/3rds of the movie are great. the last third is a snorefest.

  • @LukePhillips1883 don't bother... this guy has zero intelligence and really doesn't do anything else besides trolling on stupid stuff... he doesn't get movies? it's not the director's problem... he needs to look more into some movies ... if he can't do that... he should stick to doing something else cuz he simply looks like a retarded douche.

  • @LukePhillips1883 You missed the point of this video.....The fact is that it's only been 28 freakin days. Sure it creats another enemy for the audience blah blah blah, but you can't throw in that stuff without having it make sense. 28 days is not long enough. if the film were 28 years or even months later, sure it would make sence, but 28 days? Doesn't justify the creation of their characters. Might as well have it be a couple weeks.

  • @hunter1801 They're soldiers, they've gone longer than a month (or months) without women. I agree with "LukePhillips1883" completely and I found it creepy how realistic it actually seemed and the turn the movie took surprised me. Even in Dawn of the Dead (the remake) you saw sex and after reading stories on Holocaust survivors, one man said that after they were liberated all men wanted to do was to look for women to screw. It's unbelievable what people do in dire circumstances.

  • @femmefatale1990 "They're soldiers, they've gone longer than a month (or months) without women." What?...... It's been 28 days. Not months......not a long time. You're trying to compare Holocoast survivors who were imprisoned for years to a group of soldiers who have been around for 28 days? You can't just assume that they have been deployed for months somewhere else before. Even if that were true, you'd have to say that people in the military now are capable of this.

  • @hunter1801 People in the military are capable of this. It happens all the time but I'm just saying that maybe they had been deployed somewhere before (we're not made to know). We do know that Major Henry West went insane from watching so many of his men die, so we can assume that the same happened to the handful of soldiers left. Now, of course, not everyone would have but maybe it had to do with the extreme feeling of being isolated or not knowing how far the infection spread.

  • @hunter1801 Now, of course not everyone would think about sex or reproduction during an outbreak of that sort but you can't presume that there wouldn't be people who wouldn't think about things like that. The reason I mentioned Holocaust survivors is b/c you would think that people who saw and went through something to horrific for years would think about other things like food, family, etc. not sex once being liberated but *some* did.

  • @hunter1801 Also, though many of us would not even think about sex or reproduction (which I honestly do not believe was what the soldiers were actually aiming for but used as an excuse instead) we have to remember that others would. Many people have survival (of the human species) ingrained in their heads.

  • I think you missed the point a bit. I felt that the 'repopulating the world' reason was an excuse for the soldiers to rape the women, it wasn't really the reason it occurred it was just a way to justify it.

  • it's a moive douche bag, you totaly wasted your time

  • The ending reeked of implausibility and anti-military sentiment. Basically all of the soldiers acted like vile animals or morons and of course, they were all taken out by an unarmed bike messenger, just like they would in real life. Military - bad. Guns - bad. Ending to a great movie -bad.

  • flesh eating track running zombies lol

  • @confusedmatthew Obviousley you never heard of the Stanford Prison Experiment or the Third Wave experiment. obviously you never read Lord of the Flies or seen the LA riots. Obviousley you have no idea what happend in Yugoslavia or Rwanda (people who were neighbours one day were killing and raping eachother the next), People turn into mean creatures when the structure of society falls away, or when its a society with crazy and mean standards to begin with, like their new mini society.

  • @whackthedog Yes, whackthedog, Confusedmatthew has NEVER heard of those things or read Lord of the Flies. NEVER. What you're forgetting is that in all of the situations you mentioned, there WEREN'T RAVENOUS "ZOMBIES" CONSTANTLY TRYING TO KILL YOU THE MINUTE YOU LET YOUR GUARD DOWN.

  • @whackthedog This right here sums it up. People you need to realize we are still very very savage beings. We are in no way different than we where thousands of years ago.

  • dont think they were concerned with repopulation.. probably just gettin some, probably get some regularily, and go into depression if they havnt in a month, lawl, and when some of the areas only women (good looking even) come around, i'd want some too before they start trying to eat me.. literally

  • Here's the thing though, it wasn't 28 days later yet, not until after they leave the mansion was it 28 days into the infection. Am I wrong? They don't really say how long the infection was going on before Jim woke up, unless I missed that part. So these guys are obsessing about sex after even less than that. On a different note, I love this movie, regardless the ending.

  • @oxpoisonousxo You're wrong. The movie begins 28 days after the infection first broke out.

  • @ellaelise Alright, I don't remember it saying that.

  • Given that this small band of men have found no contact with the outside world for A MONTH and that these two females may be the last they ever see, the ending made perfect sense. Quit trying to fault an epic film.

  • @OneEyedWheeler A movie can be good (or "epic," if you're dumb) and still have faults. Loving something entirely and refusing to critique is for fanboys who can't tell the difference between real life and fantasy.

  • @ellaelise "(or "epic," if you're dumb)"

    That's dumb because?

"Loving something entirely and refusing to critique is for fanboys who can't tell the difference between real life and fantasy."

Now what, more twaddle? Obviously you have a grip on real life, taking a film so seriously and imparting your wisdom on a topic you've never experienced.

My observation is that the girl is not nearly devastated enough after her father is killed but I feel like that's nit picking over an EPIC film.

  • Lol

    EW

    Fuck humanity its about survival

  • Techniquly they weren't zombies. Zombies are dead, these crazies have the ability to starve to death. And thats how the military handled them, waiting for them to starve.

  • your wack

  • @1VIIVII his wack what? Oh, did you mean "you're wack"? How insightful!

  • You'd think that not getting mauled by a rage zombie would take precedence with a lot as "disciplined" as the military, but I guess the director/writers were REALLY trying to push the whole "male stereotype". Now I loved the movie to pieces, it definitely had an atmosphere that typical zombie movies can't claim to have, and part of that is the part with the Biritish military, so I guess I'm just gripping at personal peeves.

  • HAHA, you know.... i love love love love this movie....

but i had never thought of it this way...

    i love it!

  • you wasted all that time making a vid on a film yo
