download the emulator and rom. download and run a program called game wizard. search all memory addresses. go to game and change the first party member. go to game wizard and click the button that says something like changed variable. go to game and change your first party member. go to game wizard and click changed variable again. keep repeating until your left with only 1 address. now try putting in different numbers and click poke. it will change the party member. each number reps a dif char

fake. they just used a 3rd party game hacking program, its easy to do. you find the memory addresses for each party member slot. once you have that you can change the variable you can make it any playable character in the game anytime. you could even have multiple of the same character. the only way to get leo without hacking is a bug in an old version on the snes game. you sketch the doppleganger with edgar in your party. it will glitch and edgar will learn shock and look like leo.

It works! Leo joins, and then he just stands there with his derp face for the rest of the game while the rest of the party ignores him. But unlike Gogo, who politely stands in the corner, Leo is ALWAYS IN YOUR WAY. He stands like 2 blocks from the airship's control panel, so you have to awkwardly shuffle around him. In the world of ruin, you find him standing on the raft cid builds in the basement. He's on it when Celes drags it out to sea... Square really rushed his implementation.

Yeah Thanks. I googled that after seeing this, along with a whole bunch of other stuff. I'm afraid I've come to the end of cool stuff I can do in that game, especially since it's the PS version. Except for maybe restart, get the Ragnarok esper, and play around with Morph.

Well, you can try the "hardest" game I once tried. It involves only the minimal espers (Ramuh, the one blocking the door in the magitek factories and the six others you get in it. In the world of ruin only have 3 characters : Celes, Edgar and Setzer. Doing the tower with only one character in each team will be hard, but it's the challenge that is worth it.

Dude, getting Leo is easy. See, on the cow level of Diablo 2, you have to use the sword of uselessness after you fight the third ghost of Nuck Chorris. After that, burn the rope in order to get the 256 rage for Gau. Then revive Tellah with the item you get after reviving Aries. After that, use the item on Gesthal once he joins your party after you beat the Black Knights in FFII. Then Gesthal will allow you to fight the nuclear dragon, getting you the WTFBOOM esper. Then use it and you get Leo!!

@dudukaxpers also, i hear if you're doing this trick on the PSX version, the save data will have some use for FF7. no clue what data its tapping into, but it also helps ressurect aeris without much trouble. just a quick little side quest and boom, done.

The video I made to get General Leo.  There is only one code so its the same. Not saying you got it from my video but you used the same one as I did, for there is only 1 :D

wrong buddy.. i never used anyones codes to unlock General Leo. i used CE to find the players codes/values when there in your party. as a example if i remember correctly 193=Celes 73=Edgard 81=Sabin 89=Relm 194=Terra (thos are values not codes) if i changed there Value to 250 something it will change the empty slot to leo :)

It work the same way though, the empty slots on the airship character select screen get filled in by General Leo and a fake Kefa with my code.
