  • i work at a nursing home with alzheimer's patients, and they have done nothing but open up my mind and ive learned so much from these people, and wouldnt trade my experiences for the world. thank you for your video.

i have a video about alzheimers on my channel. feel free to check it out.

  • lol ugly fat bald man look at the shape of ur head hahah, shave off ur moustache and superglue it to ur head u bald prick, and btw u deserve alzheimers cos ur ugly anyway so it cant really affect u that much and none of ur family will care if u die. look how big ur fucking glasses are wtf is wrong with u, so fucking ugly

  • @PipweedTheGreat Could you do us a favor by jumping off a cliff?

  • are you born with it?

  • It's not a disease it's a curse. and hell for those around them

  • Hi, I've just come across this Australian film called 'Lou' that deals with Alzeimer's and its effects on the family, I think it is only available in Australia at the moment but worth having a look at if possible.

  • I was going to say something meaningful, but I totally fucking forgot.

  • the doctor said to the patient I have good news and bad news what do you want first the patient said the bad news. The doctor said well you have Alzheimer's Disease oh fuck he said whats the good news? The doctor said well in a few months you will know fuck all about it.

  • Salvia divinorum can help do research. Some people

think its bad but its no.Its a sacred plant that comes from

hoaxaca. Please do research on chemtrails please have the gov stop this, the way to destroy chemtrails is with

orgone energy. We need freedom for all peace to all

  • Seers Sage makes you trip balls though I am sure that isn't good for anyone with an already aulterd mental state.

  • I'd rather cancer then alzheimer's. At least then when i die could rememer my family and friends. I hear weed has been proven medically to off-set alzheimer's.

  • YEah some people have reported that, but some cancer patients also report benefits from it too

  • Yeah i've heard cancer patients find it a huge benefit, also depression and schizophrenia patients tell me the same thing. I cannot see why alcahol and tobacco can be legal, and it not be legal.

  • Vote for teh Marijuana Party maybe? LOL

I think they were so out of it last election they forgot to register hehehe

  • Hahaha nice.

  • can you turn the music down so we can hear your voice

  • im 15 years old and my dad has alzymiers and its just tearing my whole family apart..:(

  • I'm so sorry to hear that mate. Keep your chin up and enjoy the times he can be with you while he can.

    Geoff

  • NO!!!!!!!!DONT LET HIM DIE!You must go get your dad healed by God!I dont want another person to die :(

  • Why not? Everyone dies. If a wolf or a cat or some kind of animal had this disease he/she would DIE. The laws of nature at work. They should have an option to kill all the people with alzheimers if they want it to be. I will kill myself when I find out I have it. I am 28and have suffered a tremendous brain injury. I will have it probably. I will kill myself. End of message....

  • ;( i wish you good luck ;)

  • Thanks for taking the time to make this video man. My grandmother has the disease, she doesnt even know who I am anymore.

  • NO thanks required, and sadly it happens all too often.

  • Magnetrition, like nutrition, a collection of learned responses to poor or inadequate health conditions due to a deficiency of biological requirements Osteoporosis menopause and cancer are the result of inadequate movement in a magnetic field, and recognize as a symptom of inadequate circulation within the cells of our body, which occurs due to the immobility of magnetically migrating organelles Observed as poor health and even death in the bird egg, infant, average person of 70, and astronaut.

  • Geoff...thank you SO much for this wonderfully informative video. Alzheimer's is an insidious theft without pity; I lost my beloved stepdad to it four years ago.

Thank you again for raising awareness.

    Take good care,

    Lillianne

  • Thanks so much Lillianne. You words are much appreciated. I've often thought of re-doing it to keep peoples' awareness high and hopefully have it help raise money for a cure or at least more research.

  • I am so sad. My mom has alzheimers and I can't do a damn thing about it.

  • But you are doing something. You're raising awareness and undrstanding through your song.

    :)

  • You Australians are the bomb! You are understanding and I thank you!

  • I hope you will come through this well mate

  • I try to be to be srong and with my friend being 90 mies away, it is very difficult! I want to take care of my friend Robert Botthby! God asked me to! God wants me to take care of him! I will!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I cant come through as it is my best pal in he world! I cant do it!

  • I am going to miss my friend! It is killing me down in my heart!

  • I am just so sad! This is the saddest time of my life because the most fantastic friend of mine was a nurse and the biggest heart of all!

  • This is so hard to deal with when your best friend is dying in front of you! I have never bees so heartbroken!

  • My friend has gone from the aggressive satge and is slowing down! I fear for him now!

I am going to see him for probably the last time this coming weekend!

  • My thoughts are with you and yor friend mate, but you'll come through.

  • I feel I have mourned already because I have cried too much already and my best friend is slowly leaving me! I will always cherish him as what he has done for me and I will never forget that! Bob, I want you to know that the 90 miles between us makes no difference!

    Take care my friend!

  • I'm sorry to here this about Gr8shotz. When it comes down to it we are all part of community on this planet and this brings it home. That even though as I'm typing through a mechanical instrument we are part of a community, internet, youtube.

  • Wow I just tried to go over and his account is closed. My mom is 75 now and she is one of 10 siblings of which 3 are living. I think 5 of them have gone with Alzheimers. One of the symptoms of it coming on I understand is a short temper, which I think I'm seeing in her.

  • Best not to read into things, only a doctor can diagnose it properly.

  • my best friend is da bomb and seeing him with this crap kills me! It eats deep down!

  • This video touched my heart. I saw a tribute video from a girl named heather to her grandfather, but lost it in my surfing. Can someone tell me the title. It has scenes from grey's anatomy with the song I will remember you. I have a loved one with Alzheimer's (mom) and it really touched me heart. Please help me locate it.

  • My best friend Bob was diagnosed with Alzheimeres! How can I deal with this? I cant deal with my best friend being sick! I care for him so much! I feel like shooting myself!

  • There's a lot of information to he gained through the internet on teh subject along with advice and counselling for htose affected by the illness.

  • My Dad (I was adopted at three days old so yes he was the man who raised me, my Dad) he died Jan.13 2006 he fought it until the end, he always knew who I was, but it was sad.. I will always remember the man that he was, not the one he became.

  • Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment.

  • man life is tough! AND IT IS NOT FAIR! BUT WE HAVE TO STAY STORNG I GUESS!

  • YOu said it!

  • my grandmother is in stage 2 i think, not really sure. it fuckin sucks so bad. someone please help. me and my family are hurting.

  • NOT much I can say here except to extend my symapthies.

  • thank you Gigolo 8, and my prayers and good wishes are sent to you. my family is dealing with our mother, she isabout stage 3 now of this damn disease, and its not easy, but we just deal,, hand in there okay? Gods blessings on you.

  • Thanks for stopping by, and may you and your family recieve all the strength you need to come through this time.

  • Yeah well my dad's friend who was 59 developed it over a 2 year period and had to go into a home. One day early in the morning he was found slumped in his chair dead. But even though it was 4 years ago,and my dad is 49 now he lives in fear.

  • How terribly sad, but try to remind your Dad it's not contagious so you don't get it from friends.

  • My understandings entirely. Keeping Gr8shotz, his family, friends & his father in my thoughts & prayers. My own mother was showing signs of Alzheimers over 6 years ago. She was then diagnosed with lung cancer. After 1 treatment of chemo her alzheimers took over. Her illness has changed everyone in our family. It has changed my life. This past few years my only sanity it seems is working with writing songs about memory loss. God bless that a cure is found. Bless your hearts.

  • Thank you for your input.

  • my gran died of alzheimers! i miss her so much! i can't think bout her without tearing up or crying! i'm glad some ppl actally see the horrible affect it has! thank you so much!

  • Five star video Geoff! Great to have you back:)

  • Very nice video Geoff.

  • I work with people with alzheimers. I said this before but it did not go through. Just be patient. Love and acceptance is all they need.

  • Always believe that they know what is going on. Because in some way they do. Give respect always. If it does not help the patient, it will always help you:)

  • Geoff, beautiful video of friendship. I haven't subscribed to Russ but I have been watching his videos. Very sad news about his dad. The wonderful Blessing is that he can lean on his friends here at YouTube as well. Have a great day! ~Martha

    Gert

  • G'Day ..I was told about 5 years ago my father had alzheimer's , so far it hasnt effected him the way we were told and he seems very much the same, i guess we are lucky and its been slow progressing. I think the message here is for everyone to remember to care long before, the nastys happen. treat today like its going to be the last one, and make sure you say the things you wish you had while you still can.

  • Thanks for sharing Geoff, alzheimer's is in my family too, its important that they have people around to help. Be strong 'Gr8Shotz'.
