Part of that was reminiscent of that Spongebob episode where Spongebob and Sandy are being chased by that huge worm thing and also of the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy when the whale falls from the sky. Also, holes that appear at will, reminds me of toontown. A shock ending. Nicely done.
