I respect Chris deeply for what he said. It takes balls too stand up to someone like that. If my girlfriends mom told me that "I couldn't have her" I would be slapping her upside the head! When a parents kids are no longer kids they need to accept that and let them make their own decisions. No one should be able to tell you who you can and can't love. I don't think parents deserve to be respected if they pull that shit! In fact, I won't show respect for anyone who does not show respect to me.
