As good as Plushenko is, or is told to be, I have enjoyed Lambiel's Tango so MUCH MORE ! :)

Lambiel is a great skater and I like him a lot but for me Plushenko is the best...

During this show Lambiel performed his Tango as well...if you like I can post it!!

Sure, I'd love to see it if the quality is good :)

but I have to ask, have you see Lambiel's performance from Festa On Ice 2009 Stephane Lambiel Otono Porteno? This is like the ultimate tango, (best I've ever seen, in my mind of course).

And if I remember correctly that is the same routine Lambiel did at the Golden Skate Awards, just different costume :) Tell me what you think ;)

Yes, I've seen his performance from Festa on Ice and you are right , is exactly the same routine he did during Golden Skate Awards, just with a different costume. Even if I really love Plushenko's way of skating, I have to admit that Stephane Lambiel is a great skater as well...:)))I went to Golden Skate Awards last year and having the chance to see all those great athlets performing live gave me a big emotion! It was really a wonderful show!

Did you have a chance to take autographs and actually meet any of them?

I think Plushenko is a great skater, and he has a fantastic technique of skating.

Just don't like his personality :))

I'm sure one day you'll have the chance to see them performing live...it's a great experience! Unfortunately I hadn't the chance to meet the skaters after the show....maybe this year!!!(I'll probably go again to Golden Skate Awards in October!).

May I ask you what you don't like in Plushenko's personality? I'm just curious...:)))

I think he's not a very graceful, personality-wise.

He seems quite spiteful sometimes. I just believe that there are better ways of expressing and surviving rivalry, fear and anxiety, rather then be mean and say mean things. It looks ridiculous rather then manly :) But thats just me :)

What do you like about him?? I'm curious too :))

Well...first of all I love the way he skates...He gives me a great emotion each time I watch him skating and I think he has a superb technique.

But I like his personality too...I don't think he is spiteful or mean....He is a great skater and obviously he knows it...he has a strong personality (which is necessary is you want to be the best) and he wants to win... he fights to achieve his aim ..but always in a fair way!:)))

I agree about his skating, and great technique and all that... There is this russian expression - "bazarnaya baba" - which I think he is, that is a major turn off tome personally.

I am not quite sure how to translate that, so that you wouldn't miss the essence of it, but in a few words, it's like really rude old lady who has a big mouth and likes to arise conflicts. You can usually meet them at markets (in Russia), and they have this look on their faces, like they're divas and u'r just mortals

@vladiusik I totally agree. Lambiel osed every second of his program to show artistry. Plushenko is better technically but Lambiel's artistry and heart are unbeatable. I just enjoy Lambiel's breathtaking style more than Plushenko.

I was there ...he's amazing...the best!!!
