no entiendo nada. para qué mierdas quieres hacer todas esas gilipolleces con los iconos? sólo quiero un buen dock, eso es un juego , no una funcionalidad jajaja madre mia...
you can make a tutorial about ubuntu, I need install programs and do not install adobe flash and I need to watch videos and do not install it...help me
I'm looking to switch to Ubuntu but can someone tell me why in the world the desktop looks like it's made for children with the big icons. Can you make it look more professional?
I think they look big here because his desktop is small. You also have several icons set preinstalled by default, you can change them in "Appearance" settings.
BTW: The icon on the bottom don't come in default Ubuntu installation, the video was created to show that particular program (kiba dock).
I've had no problems using Firefox under Linux, and there's quicktime plug-ins for online Quicktime content on Firefox, iTunes is easy with crossover, and on the topic of Quicktime again, with VLC media player, that can play .MOVs :P. As for Safari, IMO, FF is better, but I see why you want it, though, Apple has nothing to gain from porting it to Linux :(. Using IE on Linux makes me feel sick!:P. I just hope he/she is a web developer!
But for instance, why iTunes are something that SHOULD be ported to Mac.
1. I can't stand Rythmbox
2. If you have a iPod you won't be able to install new software without iTunes
And regarding Safari, have you tried that with WINE/CrossOver? They are the same except one is commercial, and it took me three crashes and 2 hours just to get to Google.
Well, personally, I prefer Firefox over Safari, so I've not tried. Seriously, you should try Firefox, it's a lot more compatiable and has more support than it use to.
hehe I've been playing with Ubuntu, Beryl, GDesklets and I'll try this one next. Eversince I got Crossover Office I've only ever booted into XP to play a game once in a while.
how can i make this ?

My guess is this linux user is a Web Developer and must test his/her web development in IE.

Or he needs Shockwave and that doesnt work on Linux. Grr. Why cant Adobe port that? I would like to see QuickTime, iTunes and Safari for Linux too.
I tried installing Safari in WINE, but it was a pain browsing, slowest engine I ever used.
