(first of all this is not a racist comment, since i'm no racist)

but

Eurovision is supposed to be a contest where native singers represent their countries with a song. right? then maybe the reason why this song was underrated is that one of the singers was black and american??? have you ever wondered about this? i mean.. come on people. i totally agree with the underrating of this song, it's exactly like in football where african players play for germany, france etc..

@Calinn86 the eurovision song contest was basically a contest for the native composers to represent their countries. many many many singers were "taken" from other countries to represent a country. nowadays you don't even need to be a native composer to take part in, as long as your song is chosen.

This is Paul Oscar's(Iceland 1997) favorite Eurovision entry and he did perform it the 2nd heat of our national final 3 weeks ago. For me the winner was Ding-a-dong but this follows very closely.

Very nice song. Do you know that there was made a cover of this song by Finnish artists Marion& Kirka , the name of the song is "SIlloin", you can check it out on youtube. :)) I wonder, why nowadays nobody does a cover of this song, it is very beautiful :)).
